The pieces look great, but are not "large" (8.5-12"), as ordered. If I was wanting smaller pieces, I would have ordered small or medium instead. Disappointed in this purchase, but not worth the hassle of returning.

I can tell the person or persons who selected my piece of driftwood took great care to find a aesthetically pleasing selection. I thank them. I didn't boil mine in salt water.. however I did boil it.. then rinsed, dried, and sanded it a bit, then rinsed, boiled 1 more time, and let soak for several days and I didn't have any issues with it leaking color anymore. Floating was never an issue with this particular piece.I did think I was getting 2 pieces, however they only sent one. I'm okay with it though because it is a nice piece.

I bought the 2 large but I only used 1. I let it boil for 2 hours and then it was overnight in clean water it looks super nice and my Betta loves it.

Will look nice in my tank.
