Gold Fly Line 90FT Weight Forward Floating 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9WT Fly Fishing Line

I have these AD Gold lines in 3, 4 5 and 6 wts. All of them cast VERY well on any rod I pair them with. They shoot well, hold up decent and their long tapers help load fast graphite and slow glass rods equally well. Despite having other more expensive lines, these are becoming my "go to" I'd buy them if they were 2x the price.

Fished this line several times. I’m not impressed, pay the extra $’s and buy a good line. It is passable for nymph if on small streams but the quality is just not there. Will replace at the end of the season.

Thought buying a so called name brand would be good. However after spending 2 hours trying to untangle it right off the spool I gave up. Say what you want about Piscifun line, at least I can spool it up on the reel without a massive birds nest.

Attempted to load this on an older Gladding South Bend automatic 1140 reel. After loading the backing, only 3/4 of the line would fit. After several attempts, I couldn't load any backing ... Only the line. Don't put this on an auto fly reel.

Fantastic line with convenient loops made onto it. Say what you will but loop-to-loop is fast and easy and has never broken on me. Unfortunately, I bought this for a reel that will not fit the whole spool so it went on the cheepo.

It works. It’s not flashy or fancy but it casts fairly well on my 8 wt and floats fine. As long as your not looking to get supper high performance it catches fish. I like it at the 30-40 ft range it starts to fall off after 45 ft.

Absolutely a great value for the price for beginning fly fishers. Length, line weight & taper all within specs for much more expensive lines. Beginners shouldn't get talked into much costlier lines. For 90% of the fly-fishing beginners do, these lines are more that up to the task at a fraction of the cost.

Our recent heavy rain, snow, and Arctic low temps have kept me from a proper evaluation. Texture and premier finish, together with low price, does provide the angler with a very fine line.
