Best snow blower improvement
It was difficult to install on my impeller, because of double truss design on each of my blades. Once installed, I used the snow blower on a frozen snow bank and was amazed that it threw the frozen snow 40-50 feet away. Prior to installing the impeller kit, I was lucky if the snow went 10-25 feet. I highly recommend this, especially if you get wet snow!!!

It Really Works!
I installed this on a 10 year old, 30" wide, Craftsman blower with a 3-blade impeller. I did it with a friend who worked from the top of the machine while I worked from the bottom. I think it would be difficult to do alone. It took us a couple of hours but we were careful and took our time to ensure that there were no gaps between the rubber paddles and the inside of the impeller housing.I had a chance to try it for the first time today on 2-3 inches of wet, sticky snow and I was very pleased with the result. I would estimate that the snow was tossed about 50% further than before and I had no clogs. The parts, including the hardware are of high quality. We will see how it does after a season or two but for now, I am very pleased with the much better performance at a small cost.UPDATE: Have used this about a dozen times now and have not had a single clog. The machine tosses the snow about 30 feet now. I could not be happier with the performance.

Pretty good kit
Materials are pretty good quality. Keep in mind you will be doing cutting of the rubber and brackets to fit more often than not. Still can’t beat the price and convenience. Also remember to look if there are any round bolt holes inside the area these will scrape. If so like mine you have to leave a little extra gap so the blades won’t be jamming against them. I had to laugh pretty hard on the unthreaded bolt that arrived. I don’t think quality control was doing that well the day mine was made

Prevents clogging
Last winter all of the snowstorms dumped cement like snow. My snowblowers would all clog every 2 minutes. It was extremely frustrating. I installed th2 of these kits on 2 snowblowers and 2 snowstorms into the season, no clogs!! An added bonus is that the snowblower throws the snow even further now! Installation involves cutting the rubber and metal pieces to fit, drilling holes into the impeller blades to attach the hardware, and then adjusting it to fit just right. Well worth it.

Does what it says
My 8 year old Troy Bilt snowblower had about a quarter inch gap between the impeller blades and housing and it definitely struggled with heavier wet snow. Recently had about 4 inches of wet snow fall and got these installed to try this out. Install was fairly straightforward, the only struggle was I don't have a bench clamp to hold the metal pieces to cut to size so I had to improvise with some vise grips to securely hold the metal to cut with a saw. When attaching the rubber to the impeller blades, I would recommend only 1/2 tightening the nuts and then spinning the impeller around with your hand a few times to let the rubber pieces get in the right position to make sure it spins fairly freely and then fully tightening the nuts. You can leave the rubber tighter and let it wear down to where it needs to be, but I didn't want to have to listen to that or put the friction on the impeller gear. First time out my snowblower threw the snow far enough to allow me to not have to do a few passes shooting sideways where I typically do, I was able to run straight at it and have it throw the snow over the edge of my driveway, a good 35-40 feet. Overall, would highly recommend for anyone who has a snowblower that has a gap between the impeller blades and housing or a snowblower that struggles throwing snow far enough.

Won't work for my snowblower but seemed to be good quality
My snowblower (Simplicity M1227e) has a weird impeller making it impossible to install these unless I take the impeller out, which I will try to do at a later time because I want to replace it anyway, it's bent a little. Even still, not sure these will work. That said, the parts seem well made so if you are sure you can use a kit like this, it seems to be a good one.
