This desktop microphone is cheap, sometimes does not pick up sound and the microphone itself is very poor. My biggest complaint is that the mute button sometimes malfunctions and still picks up sound even when it is supposed to be off. I think this mic is good for temporary use but voice quality is not good.

1. The audio level is way too low. I had nothing but complaints from everyone on the other end. It cancels noise great, but in the process it reduces the audio level and has no boost to it. Unusable in a professional environment. You will embarrass yourself.2. We bought this a couple months ago and just got to installing it. We tried to return it and it was denied.Terrible product, terrible business practice.

Item arrived before due date, well packaged and was operational in minutes. Extremely user friendly self plug & play software that required no installation. I use the mic for skype and it's very effective at making my voice the highlight feature and blocking out background noise.

I was hoping to improve Audio Quality in video voice overs. Had been using the laptop's built in microphone array.Very disappointed to find that this product's AQ was, at its best, maybe equal to what it was intended to replace and - on average- worse. And - I don't find that the directionality that I hoped for was effective either. Overall sound too much on the high pitched side with a distinct "rumble" in the low tones.So - I'll continue to use the laptop mic instead & have one less piece of clutter on my work space. A very disappointing product; save your $. Gave it two stars because it actually does do a mic's job - just poorly. One is reserved for things that don't work at all.
