Love Dr Callie Hughes!
This series just keeps getting better and better. The plot in book #3 is complex, yet completely believable. Just when I thought I had it figured out, there's another victim and (kinda, sorta) a new suspect, although suspects are rather thin.At least, Callie has finally landed a couple of dates. Her friend Kate doesn't have to keep rubbing Callie's nose in the paucity of men in her life. Without giving anything away, I'll just say that this series is well worth your time.....

Good
For the most part, I liked the book and the author's method of writing. It pretty much held my interest throughout. I would recommend.

Twists
Wonderful to the very last page. The characters are so well developed that I was right there with them. I think I found smother her favorite author.

VERY ENTERTAINING
WOW, Dr Callie is at it again. She gets herself involved in a case of lawyers dying. She's worried about her best friend, a lawyer and feels she has to help the police. This is a really good series, well written and entertaining.

Enjoyable Mysteries
I just finished the three existing books in this series by Denman. Each had distinctly different mysteries, and I enjoyed guessing the outcomes without guessing entirely correctly. I prefer stories sans sexual sequences, and Denman manages to write for adults without resorting to textual porn. I wish more mystery writers exercised this talent.

Couldn't Put This Down!
4.75 out of 5 stars*This book was slow to start but once it got going I could not put it down! I am a huge mystery/thriller reader, and this was right up my alley. There were some questionable words choices (one in particular is a slur, but not in the context of the book. I think it means "gap" in british vernacular) that I wasn't fond of. The fat shaming was a bit much as well but I sort of understood it within the plot of the story.I think if you are looking to expand your reading to less pop lit, more indie thrillers, you would enjoy Guilty Party!

An easy read with plenty of suspense!
I love anything to do with forensics! For me there was nothing to dislike.

Can't get enough
I really enjoy reading about Callie and how determined she is to help others and make things right. This was another great read about such an intelligent woman and I was very pleased. Starting the next in the series because I just can't get enough of these great stories!

Another good read
These books grab my immediate attention and continue to be a good read. The plot keeps one guessing and the characters continue to develop interestingly.

Curiosity solved the crime
I gave this book 5 stars mainly as it was different to other crime novels I have read. It was refreshing in that no main character had baggage, the person solving the crime was a gp as her main job and it wasn't obvious "who did it". Callie, the main character, is very likeable from the start and very much carried on that way throughout. Enjoyed meeting the other main characters. A pageturner and ready for the next one.

Excellent series
Callie works as a GP, but also works for the police so we see 2 sides of her as a doctor, which is interesting. And of course she just cannot help but get caught up in the investigations! She has developed an amusing love/hate relationship with the police - DI Miller, who she seems to want to impress. And then there is his colleague Jeffries, who is the most annoying person ever, but funny. Really loving this series so far! Looking forward to the next one.

Worth reading
A busy Dr is also a crime solver , What looks like an accident could be a murder and when another body is found the two could be connected. But how? The Dr digs deeper and uncovers more than she expected , I found it easy to follow, I liked the style of writing and kept interested, It was good value
