We put this on our shed and tied down with wire so it would not move. It works just fine and looks cute! Size is good even from far away.

This magical unicorn has been up and outside since Thanksgiving. He has survived through Christmas. We plan to use him for Valentines day. Strong enough to survive a Kansas blizzard and stay standing.

First of all this guy is super adorable. I took a star off because the lights are not very bright and I was disappointed there were no lights in his flippers. I too searched everywhere for the hat, and couldn’t find it so I set up a return. Since there were so many complaints about the missing hat I decided to try again and found it. The hat doesn’t just fall out like the scarf. If you look at the inside, you’ll see what I thought was just an inner red tinsel lining, but that is actually the hat. It’s a separate piece but it’s made of the same metal frame which is shoved so tight against the back it looks like part of the body . I had to do a little pulling to get it out. The white trim is part of the hat. Kinda dumb that the company doesn’t emphasize that- they’d probably have a lot fewer returns. Hope this helps.

The penguin is cute but not as cute as the picture. The electric cord is too short needs an extension cord. It looks really fragile not sure if it’s suitable for outdoors especially in rainy days, I’ll take the risk though. Per other reviews stating the hat, nose or scarf is missing, they’re all inside the penguin’s belly, kind of hard to find really. I’ll give it a day or two to decide whether to keep or return.A year later and the penguin survived rainy and snowy days. Fair enough to edit my last year’s review. This year I’m buying the unicorn to make my granddaughters happy.

Penguin is cute but where is his hat ??? I attempted to contact the Daffidill company but no luck. Did read reviews multiple people had same complaint. I will have to return item as I cannot appropriate person to contact. I was hoping that this company would realize there is a problem & correct it, I was wrong

Bought as a gift for my daughter. It stood under her tree in the living room and was a conversation piece.Bright, colourful and brought a smile to many faces. Well made. The only negative comment is that I paid too much. There are other sellers that offer it for less but I found that out after the fact.
