Very durable toy
We have a medium size Staffy (~60lbs) who destroys most any toy in a very short time, from a few minutes to a few days. This toy we bought for her two years ago, even putting squeak toys inside to entice her, and only within the last month did she finally tear the toy. She loves this toy and is so very eager to destroy it, but she can’t. Highly recommended for large dogs who love to hew!chew.

On the quest for an ACTUALLY tough dog toy...
I have a German Shepherd/Pit Bull mix.He loves balls.More specifically, he loves destroying balls. Obliterating them. Scattering their sad, rubbery remains across our carpet. While he is the sweetest boy to anyone he meets, only balls bare witness to this dog's true wrath; his love of crushing and rending and pulling apart peice by peice in his jaw of death.I've been trying to find a ball that survive more than three days. This one is going on two weeks, and has hardly a scratch - the chips in its rubber in the attached picture are the only injuries this toy has so far sustained, in spite of becoming his new favorite.By comparison, some of the other toys I've bought for him:- The offical rubber ball on a rope used to train police dogs. Police dogs are German shepherds, so this toy will last, I naively thought. By the end of the day, only half of a ball remained on that rope. The rest had been scattered across the living room.- A cute, "indestructible" owl ball. While the squeeker was ripped out from this one in the first hour, the ball itself lasted another three or so days before the owl's face became impossible to identify.- the "industructible dog toy" ball. Orange, plastic, and a bit too big. That thing is industructible, for sure, but it wouldn't squish and so it was promptly rejected.- A toy made of old fireman's hose. While not a ball exactly, I'd like to use this as the closest equivalent we've so far found to this ball. The hose was slowly, thread by thread, torn and flattened until the toy was just a stub - but the process took several months. I expect this ball will hold up about as well.Caretakers of extremely strong and relentless dogs, rejoice. For this ball has stared into the abyss, unknowable truths about mortality and our simple place in the universe, and laughed. I will be buying more of these.

Wish I could get another as inexpensively as I did the first one.
Update: 5/8/18:I am here to buy another one. Evidently, this ball is magic! It has disappeared. *sigh* I know my dog has hiding places in the house, but given a thorough search, I can usually find her toys. Alas, not this time. She had the ball about a week ago (and it was still in excellent shape even after almost 4 years) and now it's gone. I hope the house gnome who took it is having fun with it. Either way, now that price has dropped back to reasonable (considering the orange was about $30 last time I looked), I'll buy another. I did buy a purple one a couple years ago to keep in the camper for her, and it's still going strong. About a day before this gets delivered, she'll probably trot our of some sneaky place and have it in her mouth. *smhShe still prefers tennis balls for fetch outside, but inside this is the only ball she has in the house. I still highly recommend this ball.Update 3/29/15About 7 months have passed since I purchased this. My dog has this in her mouth practically all day long. She likes to squish it in her jaws, and she simply can't greet anyone at the door without first finding her ball (on the few occasions it's not already there). I think it's more like a binky for her. This ball looks the same as it did the day I took out of the packaging. Virtually no damage, only very faint scratches--very faint.I absolutely recommend this ball.Original review September of 2014:My dog destroys Tuff Balls and Kong Balls in a matter of minutes (even if it's simply cracking the seal holding the halves of the ball together). To be fair,Tuff Balls do outlast Kong, but only marginally. She's not a huge dog (about 30 pounds--she looks like a mini-Lab mix). We've had the Orbee ball about a month and it's still in one piece. I love that I can wash it with soap and water. There are two holes in the ball that I believe could be used to put small treats in; though I don't believe that was ever specified. However, I believe a dog who likes to tear things might be able to get a tooth in one of those holes at just the right angle and do some damage. I don't think it would be easy (and I have no proof). My dog doesn't tear things--just gnaws until they break. After a month of constant gnawing there are no dog-made holes anywhere on the ball and the seams are as strong and intact as when it was new.My only complaint is that they aren't available as a Prime item any longer (at the time of this review) and the shipping cost makes the ball cost prohibitive. And when I say the ball was "inexpensive," I mean that it would have been outrageously expensive if she'd destroyed it like she does other balls; however, since it's still in great shape, it's "inexpensive." The price I'd pay to constantly replace Tuff Balls would have exceeded this ball.

Worth it’s weight in gold!
We have a golden retriever that LOVES to play ball. We’ve gone through more tennis balls than we care to count, so we finally decided to purchase something a little more “chew proof”. We did not have much hope that this ball would survive, but it’s been 8 months and the ball has survived well! My husband even accidentally mowed over it a few weeks ago! If you’re on the fence about this one, I encourage you to give it a try.

Amazing
My dogs absolutely love these balls - they will sit there chewing on them for hours. The small ball is a normal size/bit bigger than a tennis ball. These always seem to be low stock and are only available at amazon, i hope the company continues to make them!

Not a Treat Dispenser
It is a great ball. An expensive ball. Not a treat dispenser (at least, not one that works well). I have no idea why they are trying to market the product this way, other than to increase the price.

Truly Indestructible
I ordered one of these 2.5 years ago, and it is the single toy to survive 3 great dane puppies. Bullymake toys are a close second, but we've even managed to destroy a few of those. This one, however, remains a favorite and remains whole and in great working order after 2.5 years. Bravo, Planet Dog! I only had to order a new one now because my two danes argue over the one we had. So now, two danes, two Orbee balls. No need to squabble, though I'm sure they'll still find a reason. Plus, this ball bounces really well on hard floors. I work from home, and one of the danes is perpetually dropping these in my lap to bounce for them. After years of practice, I can bounce the silly thing all the way down the hall without ever looking up from my work. :-D

Long lasting
This ball is quite thick and heavy.Great for dogs if they are extra rough on balls. I exchanged them for two of their original lighter lunar balls which my German Shepherds prefer. What can I say, they know what they like. Lol

Good ball for fetch
I got the ball hoping my dog (90lbs gsd mix) would fetch and CHEW on it like his kong which he is able to destroy too fast. He doesn't really like to chew on it, I think it's due to the peppermint scent it has, but it's still one of his favourite fetch toys. It's extremely bouncy and it whistles when you throw it so he loves chasing it. The peppermint smell is a negative and a positive... I like that it seems to stop him from chewing on it, so now I have a rubber toy he won't destroy, but I was looking for something rubber like a kong that he would chew on as much hoping it would last a bit longer. Pretty sure it wouldn't last much longer if he actually did care to chew on it to his full potential (seems about the same strength as a kong) but no toys do last if your dog is a destructive type chewer. Still definitely 5 stars extremely good tough ball for interacting with the dog I want to try other toys from this manufacturer now.

Strong and durable
Love this ball, I’m a dog walker so it’s great for all of my bigger dogs. It hasn’t even got any marks on it from there teeth. Will last a lifetime! Going to get a smaller one for the smaller dogs in my gang ☺️

Great for keeping dogs mentally and physically busy!
I have a foster Dachshund who guards his toys and has no problem helping himself to out other Dachshund’s food, toys, blankets (shredding of). I put a few puppy treats into the larger hole in here (they don’t fall out of the smaller one) and top these up with liver paste to keep the treats in and he spends ages and is happily entertained (physically & mentally) whilst I am on calls or eating dinner. A great distraction, which is really robust and the only thing he hasn’t destroyed as yet!

Only ball my dog has not destroyed
So I read a lot of reviews before buying this because we were going through a lot of $$$ in toys for my dog every month. She is an aggressive chewer and can rip virtually anything apart in a minute or less. Her specialty is finding the exact way to saw open any oten with her teeth. So I got this and was not expecting much but she has not been able to make even a small dent in the thing even after many months. She's even kind of lost interest in it because she cannot make it into tiny little pieces. So great for powerful chewers and has a hole in the end so you can thread a rope in and knot it to make a throwing toy.
