The stamp set came really well packaged with layers of protection however, the edge of the actual case that holds the stamp materials was a bit cracked probably due to transportation. Even then the presentation was really nice. The set came in a timely fashion. Nothing fell out of its place. All the pieces were in place as promised and the actual stamp looks really well made. The stamp is nice and heavy with a nicely shaped wooden handle for a good hand weight. The detailing on the stamp is really on point. Other Hogwarts stamp sets have the banner but without the words on it but this set does have the detailing on the banner. Also the detailing of the four houses is really well made. If you’re a Harry Potter fanatic this set would be perfect for you or if you’re gifting it to someone who is. The color selection of the waxes is very beautiful with the classic red, a nice gold and silver for different occasions. The two small candles are really convenient for preparing the wax for stamping making the process hassle free. However, it might take a few tries to get a perfect image. It would definitely add a nice touch to an invitation especially for a themed party.

Wax is great. Lovely pattens. But it does not come with a special tool to cut it to out on the spoon. You will need to cut these. Great box too

I bought a couple of these stamp kits for the first day of Harry Potter Club at school- they had to write an acceptance letter with quill & ink on parchment and address the envelope. My students enjoyed watching me melt the wax in the wax spoon and once I poured it on the envelope they were able to use the Hogwarts seal. They turned out very nicely and looked very authentic to the movies! It is super easy to use, and all three colors look great. However, it is molten wax so I did have to tell my students beforehand to be careful, and it was fine! If you are having any Harry Potter themed event, or just want to stamp any of your envelopes in style, I definitely recommend this kit.

Item is fun, brings you back to the old old days. Used for innovations to an event. Every thing worked to like expected. Wax is a bit hard to cut or break into small peices. I'm sure that's a good thing.. only thing I wish for would the small bowl handle to be coated in something to help with the heat. Doing more then one at a time it got hott to the touch. I. Sure it's more about the way they where back then. Love the item cant wait till next years event to use it again!Every thing came as described. No damage. Only thing was no envelope but that's fine.

I bought this kit to seal some Hogwarts acceptance letters I made for my daughters and a grandson too. The Hogwarts logo is very well done and the kit as a whole is vey nice. The waxes are very sharp looking when stamped too. But after re-watching the movies again recently I realized that the Hogwarts logo is not what is on the letter harry gets in the Sorcerers Stone, It is a simple H stamp. In the books it is described as the H surrounded by the four animals of each house. But those do not appear to be in the movie version either. So if you are wanting authentic, then you may look elsewhere. But if you want pretty kewl looking, then this fits the bill.
