Light Weight Tripod with Sony Camera Controls
This product works well with my Sony a6400 DSLR camera. It is unique in that it offers the ability to power on my camera, start a video camera recording and zoom a “powered” lens. It is especially handy for me in a tight space where I’m recording video. The controls that fit on the tripod’s pan/tilt arm help reduce the chance of me jiggling the camera. There are some limitations, however: 1) The controls advertise a fast and slow zoom…but it’s really fast and faster…not a professional grade slow zoom; 2) Not many camera lenses are powered lenses, so most of the time I have to manually zoom anyway; 3) This is not made for heavier cameras. But for me this tripod meet my needs for light weight, quick setup, and remote control of the record button.
