I broke my expensive toaster and looked for an inexpensive one to replace it because I was about to move in with a roommate who already had one. So it all worked out. This toaster didn't disappoint. Very pleased with it. No, it didn't toast perfectly, but it was adequate and functional. For the price, it works and I was pleased. I'd spend more money on a permanent one I planned on keeping for years. But this was a great get-me-by one and nice price too.

I bought it. Wife uses it daily. When I asked her how she liked it she said she did. Plus now she doesn't have to defrost waffles in the microwave before toaster. She said this one takes the frozen waffle and toast it just right with no extra steps. I noticed one end of toaster cooks hotter than the rest but to avoid burnt just lower the temp (it's not rocket science) toaster pops items up but we have not experienced any being thrown out onto floor or counter. I would buy again

This toaster is perfect for long slices of bread. It seems to over toast if you use it a second time soon after the first. It also sometimes will throw smaller pieces of sandwich bread when it pops. I don’t think it’s so bad unless it’s sitting next to the sink and I lose my toast to the dirty dishes. If the bread is shorter sometimes it gets trapped under the lip of opening. All that said it is so nice to toast 4 frozen waffles at once instead of 2 at a time or one long slice of sourdough that I don’t have to flip and toast again

This is a great quality toaster. I wanted to use it for a while before I did a review. It is longer and wider than I expected but I have now learned to love that about it and love all the features. I also love that if you have large specialty size bread slices that they can fit with no issues. The slots are very long and wide with no divider in each slot. Bagels fit with no issues. You can put 4 bagels halves or 4 regular pieces of toast in at one time or just 2 at a time. The timer on the side helps also with my impatience as I know what to expect since it shows how much time is left. It does not put out any heat on the sides but does put out quite a bit from the top. Not enough to be concerned unless I had something in there a long time. I do have it on my counter which sits under my upper cabinet next to my microwave and if I were to need something to be in there longer I would just pull it away from my upper cabinet so it would not be directly below it. The cord is a good length. I have not used the metal holders for anything yet to reheat or keep it warm so I cannot say how it works but I am sure it would work great with the heat it puts out. I do have a smaller kitchen and storage space is limited so I can't put it away anywhere plus I don't like getting crumbs in my cabinets. So, I leave it on the counter. It does take up quite a bit of space but I use it a lot, so it works out for me. The 2 main reasons I got it was the timer and the size of the slots so I can deal with the size of the whole toaster because I love the size of the slots. It also had good reviews.

We had a long-style 4-slice toaster by Oster (nothing fancy) that lasted us probably 15-20 years. Sadly it finally quit operating, so finally had to replace it. This one looked sleek and similar in style, so thought it could be a good replacement. Not so. There were 6 settings for brown-ness. We like our toast just a golden brown, so I started by trying it on the #2 setting.....burned first set of toast and had to trash it. Next tried it on the lowest possible setting #1.....very dark toast. Still had to 'scrape' it off a bit. Next day made the mistake of trying to put half a bakery-size bagel inside to toast it - on the lowest setting #1 - burned both sides, and the toaster didn't even drop it low enough to toast the whole bagel (see photo). Oh, how I wish the old toaster still worked! Returned this one, ordered a different brand toaster, and will have to toast everything in the oven until it arrives. I don't expect a lot from a toaster, but it has 'one job' and I expect it to properly accomplish it. This toaster failed miserably. I wouldn't waste your time on this one.

I find this toaster to cook unevenly and sometimes too dark without changing the setting so the temperature seems to fluctuate. I like the smaller size and it takes up less counter space, it looks nice but it doesn’t cook bagels well as stated in the listing. I use it mostly for bagels and I have to press them flatter in order to avoid burnt spots or them getting stuck. It’s really not ideal for bagels or thicker bread toasts but it’s ok for regular bread. It really doesn’t work for me other than size and appearance, I should probably send it back and get a different option that works for my cooking needs rather than counter appearance.

Toaster looks fine but I have no way to plug it in. Probably wouldn't want to as it is a US 110v product.Why would you send me this?

The only thing keeping me from a 5 star rating is that it would be nice to have a button to push to lift the toast before it pops rather than turning the knob, which makes it difficult to get it back at the right setting again.
