Yes! The two pads are removable so you can store them in your freezer.

Q: Where can I get additional gel packs to fit these wrist and ankle wraps? How many does it come with?

It comes with 2 ice packs and one wrap. I had an ice pack I purchased from my pharmacy awhile ago and it fits into the wrap also. But, the 2 ice packs are sufficient for us as I keep one in use and one in the freezer (rotating them as needed). They get cold quickly in the freezer.

Q: Is there only 1 ice pack in this? How does the cold reach the upper arm part of the wrap?

The package included 1 ice pack, 1 wrap and 2 elastic strap. When you use it, try to insert the gel pack into the bag of the shoulder wrap.

Q: Would this be good for treating carpal tunnel/tendon issues? I plan to wear it while drawing.

I'm not sure, but i guess it could work. I am a drummer and i have issues with my left wrist. I use it when i get home from a gig. It works for me, takes some of the discomfort away. I stays cold for about 15-20 minutes. Hope this helps, Chuck
