Its good for the money.

I bought an awesome firepit, but didn't want to deal with the hassle of propane tanks. I purchased the natural gas ring and attached it to a gas line I purchased at home depot and and ran underground. The gas line is attached to nub on the house. This was such an easy project and this product really made it come together. I tried the ring with the holes up (orange fire), but ultimately settled with the holes down (blue fire). It looks great with the blue fire glass and I constantly get compliments on the blue flames. Highly recommend this product.

For the $$ it works as designed. I like the fire pattern and it dispersed well when I added the fire rock and glass beads. It will send flames four foot high turned up so be careful when you light ur up!!

We put it in our fire pit and take it to the beach for making s’mores. This is a 40+ year tradition but they outlawed wood fires last year so the propane circle helps us keep up the tradition👍

Wife here using my hubby's account: I bought this to install in a concrete block fire ring, as opposed to wood burning.We went down to the hardware store to get blocks to make a fire pit, leveled out the dirt, placed the blocks, with a little trench for the propane line to run out underneath to the tank (which we hid in one of those propane tank covers that we got at Target and will use it as a side table next to our adirondack chairs), filled the pit most of the way with lava rock while holding the ring kit in place, then we will add decorative glass beads for the last few inches to cover the ring itself once they arrive.The propane burner ring kit was super easy to put together, install, & works really well, but one big (HUGE) downside is that the flex line is not whistle free. I highly suggest replacing the flex line (the one with all the corrugated ridges) between the key and the burner ring fittings with a whistle free line, as we will be doing very shortly. We are able to adjust the gas down using the red knob regulator thing so that it doesn't whistle, but the flame isn't very high. When the propane is cranked up the high pitch whistle kills the ambiance of sitting by the fire. We also used additional propane/gas line tape when threading everything together to make sure the lines didn't leak. Other than that, all the parts are great quality and worth the price. This would get 5 stars if it was whistle free.I'll add pictures once the decorative glass is added.

I bought this before Thanksgiving and it arrived quickly and in tact. I had a friend of mine put it together for me. After installing it and putting the fire glass all around it, I lit it but it was only burning in the center. I emailed Stanbroil customer service and sent them a picture. They suggested a few things for me to try. They even emailed me after a couple of days to see how things went. I hadn't had a chance to try their suggestons yet. A day or two later I did but that didn't help. I emailed them back and they suggested that maybe it was a faulty fire ring so they sent me another one at no charge. I installed that one and still the same thing happened. I took more detailed pictures and emailed them back. They informed me that it was put together upside down. Lol Well, I guess if ya want something done right... Sooo I took everything apart and reinstalled it myself and voila it works beautifully!!! I emailed Stanbroil again thanking them for working with me and asked how to send back the extra fire ring. They told me to just keep it as a gift. Now, mind you, this was not a product failure, and they still were more than accommodating to me. I would recommend this company and product to anyone. I love it and the customer service is impeccable!!! Thank you again Stanbroil customer service for making my shopping experience amazing.P.S. I'm waiting for more fire glass to cover the ring. Can't wait to see it completed.

I bought a liquid propane fire table from Home Depot. The table itself is awesome and was a great price, but the liquid propane burner was nothing impressive. So I took out all of the liquid propane parts and replaced them in their entirety with this kit.I was hoping to find a 9 inch ring, as that’s what the LP burner was, but apparently they do not exist. This 6 inch one is more than enough for my application.

This fire pit burner ring is the perfect upgrade, that actually made our fire pit enjoyable!I purchased this to "upgrade" our existing wood burning fire pit this summer, because while I love to have a bonfire, I ABSOLUTELY HATE the lasting smell on my skin, hair and in my clothes. The kit arrived and it is pretty self-explanatory. I simply drilled a large enough hole in the pan from our existing fire pit that allowed the pipe that feeds the ring to fit through.After about 30 minutes of assembly / installation, the new kit was installed and ready to be tested. I also purchased 20 pounds of fireplace glass and added enough to cover the ring completely, so that it cannot be seen through the glass.When we want to have a fire now, I simply turn on the valve, light the fire and enjoy! No smell, no mess, no ashes to clean. When we are ready to head in for the night, I simply turn off the valve and go inside. No hot ashes to worry about smoldering on the deck or dirty ash water dripping on my deck all night. Best $100 I spent on the yard all summer... I highly recommend it!

I used it to convert a wood fire bowl to propane. I think it looks great.Observations:- Tighten all connections. I felt some weren't tight enough.- Be careful how big a burner you buy. I was debating between the 12 & 18" and went with the 12 and am glad I did. The larger burner would have been overkill.- The 18" flex line was perfect length.- The 4' hose from the regulator to the tank was too short so I swapped with an 8' hose I had on a portable gas grill.- I filled up to the burner with pea gravel as it is cheap and then added the fire rock on top.

Shipping was fast. Was an easy drop in replacement with some minor customizing to use an fire table we have where the original burner and valve unit failed.Works great.

Took a little longer to get. But easy set up and great heat and flames. Love it. Just have to get more lava rocks in there and it's going to be perfect!

Well made. Puts out quite a huge flame.The valve is pretty sensitive making tricky to adjust flame but seems great quality.
