These are long enough to tie bushy garland to a banister rail, and the wiring means they stay where you put them. I bought both green and gold ones: the green obviously disappear better, but are a bit shorter than the gold. Much better than an ugly zip tie and no chance of damaging the finish on whatever you're tying onto.

Slick surface due to the material used so they are not really strong enough to hold a garland. Just slips apart

Really quality item! Easy to use on our banister garland. Holds it in place and looks great. I even just twisted a few extra ones into decorative tassels around the house. Love it!

These work great for tying a garland onto a stair rail. Very sturdy. I have them in green and gold. They arrived on time.

It’s my fault for not trying these when I bought them a few months ago. I’ve used this type of product for years in gold or red. Mine were getting a little ragged so I looked for new ones and saw these red and white ones, which I thought would look cute to hold up my decorations on my bannister. These are just garbage! As soon as I took one out of the package, I saw these were much more flimsy than my other ones but still hoped for the best. The wire is so thin and soft that they don’t stay twisted even with no weight on them, let alone any decorations. Thank goodness I still had my old ones. I’m usually very satisfied with products I’ve ordered from Amazon but I’m angry I’m stuck with these as it’s too late to send them back!

These are nice for the price, but the wire inside is much too weak to be effective. I bought a more expensive version (twice the price but advertised as "the original") to compare these to and I can straighten them out and hold them horizontally and they stay straight where as these are more like a wet noodle. Both look identical, but one has a real wire inside where the other is akin to a bread bag tie. These will probably work if your hanging basic plain garland up, but for more full with decorations they don't work so well.

They worked great to hold the garland on the stair bannisters over the holidays.Just not real long.

They look pretty but are silky and don’t hold a knot well.

The gold isn’t gold but a bright yellow color which doesn’t really go with Christmas colors at all. I returned for that reason.

The ties seem to be well made however, the green color of the ties is a very light green, not really practical for tying garland, also the wire for the twist tie is weak and hard to secure an item, would not order again for the price.
