What every kitchen needs - an easy to use and clean, compact slicer.
This is easy to assemble, operate, clean, close up and store. Highly recommend.

Suits My Needs
This little gadget is perfect for my needs. I used on cheese, squash, pork and the result was exactly as I hope. The slices were standardized and just the right thickness. It took a little practice to obtain a good product. The only issue was getting the disk off to clean. I have weak hands couldn't grab the knob hard enough to pull it off. I solved the problem with pliers. If you are slicing small amounts and want standards slices, this slicer will do the job at a reasonable price. If you have a shortage of space for storing, just remember the plastic parts take up alot of room.

Plastic JUNK
unstable, plastic sliding on metal, sliced half a stick of summer sausage, plastic ground and shaved edges, very hard to clean, motor bogs slicing summer sausage. flimsy trey (both) slicer side and pick up. whole thing shaky takes at least 3 hands to hold steady plastic treys slip and move awkwardlyThis a dangerous to operate piece of junkPossibly a good design, but cheaply made

Its ok
It's easy to clean, easy to use, great value for the money but you get what you pay for. Moving slicer back-and-forth is very cheap feeling, not a smooth gliding feel, flplastic meat holder cracked on 1st use. I missed return the cut off time. Haven't used it since. Will work for basic needs but nothing heavy duty.

THE SLIDE DRAGS AND SQUEEKS
THE PLASTIC SLIDE WHERE THE MEAT GOES RESTS ON THE METAL AND THE SLIDE DRAGS AND SQUEEKS AS YOU CUT YOUR MEAT. THIS MAKES IT HARDER TO GET EVEN SLICES ESPECIALLY IF YOU ARE CUTTING THIN SLICES.

I was skeptical. It works well
I was skeptical it would do the job for the price. I used it to slice 3 roasts for jerky. It powered through them easily saving a tremendous amount of time. I would recommend.

Does the job
I purchased this slicer because I make homemade dog treats. I have used it a few times and it was worth the money. I would suggest that if you need to slice a soft meat like chicken to do it when it is sum what frozen. Defrosted meat gets shredded in the blade. It's easy to clean and uses little storage space.
