Note these have a brass end piece, not silver nickle
I ordered this set to replace the "red" cable cords that came with my square needles. What I didn't pay attention to is these have brass end pieces. To me they were rough feeling to insert although they did lock. I returned and got the silver metal version. I think this set with brass end pieces would be fine after brief use. Addi makes wonderful knitting needles and accessories. I have both wood and metal sets.
