Fantastically simple to use tester.
Purchased this to test all the sockets in my home office before use.It's super simple to use (once you install batteries), just plug it in and turn on the socket..Very pleased.

bought this to test polarity etc, some good features, but as an electrician of 40+ year experience i do not know what the NCV value means, also the having to switch on is a bit annoying, previous testers come on when powered up and off when unplugged. good value of rmoney, quick delivery

rubbish. stopped working on my second job
stopped working on about 5th or 6th socket i was checking. just would not turn on.

Dangerous do not buy
Plugged into a mains socket that was already tested using another tester. I only wanted to update it. Soon as I plugged in I had a massive bang followed by the damage you can see in the photo. I didn’t even press the bottom left on button. I will be taking this further.
