I looked at several solar, motion activated lights and I'm glad I went with this one. I was basically looking for something durable that illuminated a narrow path on the side of our house without too much horizontal spillover into our neighbors and this works great.It has 3 modes which allow different brightness and duration settings. I have it set so that it turns on with motion at night and then off after a few seconds which works well for our purposes. Additionally I like that the beam is mainly directed down instead of across so it illuminates exactly the path I want.In terms of mounting, it comes with a sticky pad which might work on some surfaces. I used another 3M mounting tape because the exterior of my house has a stucco finish. 2/4 that I purchased fell ~7ft, but good news is still worked just fine which I guess speaks to durability.The box actually has a flap that you can tear off and use as a mounting guide. I ended up having to use masonry screws, but it didn't take to long to install.Overall I've been very pleased with the aesthetic, durability, and function of these lights.

These are great for walkway lights. I park my trailer next to the sidewalk and actually fastened it to the side of the trailer. Whenever anyone walks near, the light turns on. These are tough and the first set worked so well, when I lost it, I bought more.

It's not incredibly bright like others, in a good way. You can also change the mode to be barely lit up with two small LEDs until someone comes near.

I bought two of these over a year ago, thinking I'd give them a try. They perform exactly as I'd hoped. They give off very strong lighting - blinding light, actually, if you look at the bulbs at close range. The sticky mounting product could be improved esp for an outside mount. One of these I put on a back door so it would throw light on the entrance and let me see the knob on the door so I could find the key hole. Excellent performance. Also I set it so that it's motion activated which is helpful as a safety light also.

Love how these are motion censored and solar. Different settings. Ample light. Stylish. Work well.

These are BRIGHT! I’ve put these around the yard so they light up when a critter comes through and my camera traps get a bit more light. Don’t point them at your window. You’ll think there are car headlights shining in. Well, almost. They really are bright and cover a wide area. I think they would make a good security deterrent too. I can’t imagine anyone continuing to approach when these light up the night. Also convenient to have so you can walk around your yard at night without a flashlight. They come on instantly. There are different modes so they can stay on a long time or shorter period.

These are fantastic with easy install, soft glow on when activated with motion. Ordered these on two separate boxes - all but one of the four total just did not continue to work/turn on after a week so docking it 2 stars. If they can get consistent with the product, would totally give 5 stars. Directions could have been a bit clearer, but it's also intuitive to figure out so not hard to overcome.

Work well, light up when needed, although it has to be 100% dark outside for them to work. That period between twilight and total darkness is not dark enough to make them work. But they do work great when it is very dark.
