I have a two year old mini Goldendoodle that thinks he is a sled dog. When he goes for walks he likes to drop his hips and pull! This harness, with the provided leash, which attaches to a sternum loop and back loop (martingale style loop), have tremendously helped control my dog better on his walks. He does still pull at times, that needs to be corrected with training, but it instantly made walking him more enjoyable. The velvet underside is a nice touch. I haven't asked him if it's more comfortable than standard nylon webbing, but I don't think he minds either way. There are days where he wears this harness all day and he's just as comfortable with it on as he is with it off. The other nice thing about this harness is the ease of putting it on and off. It slips right over the head and then two under the arm buckles to firmly secure. I would definitely recommend this harness, especially if your dog pulls.

Almost perfect harness for training my dog to walk with me without pulling. The double clip works great with little or no effort on my part. She knows to stick close.The problem is that she has to stick too close when she wants to smell something or do her business. Another problem is that the handle is not padded, so it isn't as comfortable as other leashes. I solved both those issues by adding a four-foot leash, looped upon itself, so it only adds two feet. The works fine, since much of the time I hold the handle in my left hand and do what little guiding I need to do with my right.One minor problem I haven't solved is that my dog is between sizes. I got her Size: 1" MD (Chest 24"- 28"). The harness fits wonderfully but the hardware is more heaby duty than I need, especially the two clips on the leash. I suspect the hardware is lighter for 5/8" MD (Chest 24"- 28").If so, it would be nice if Two-Hounds allowed customers to exchange out the heavy duty leash for the lighter duty leash... of provided an option to purchanse the lighter duty leash separately.I'm really torm between grading 4 or 5 stars. It wouldn't take much to move up to a 5 star or even 6 star rating, with just a few minor changes.

We have a 7mo old rescue puppy of questionable breeding, so we have no idea how big she'll get. I want to make sure she has manners before she gets too much bigger. Bought this hoping to gain some leverage on her. I like the martingale but the front lead doesn't seem to curb her pulling much. The 2 leashes can be a lot, and act sort of like a double bridle so that's how I hold them. It took me a bit to fit her 1. Bc she's a terrible wiggler and 2. Bc she has large shoulders and deep chest.The color is beautiful, it's soft which is a plus, and construction is solid for 50lbs of love. My jury is still out bc she seems to pull more with this than her previous harness. We'll keep trying though!!

I was skeptical about whether this would help control my unruly dog that I just adopted because I'd tried just about every other harness to no avail. How pleased I was to find this one really delivers on its promises. Easy to put on the dog and keep her close to you. The moment she started to pull towards another dog, the leash took over; the front connection turning her towards me and the back one tightening around her girth, providing just that extra reminder to her that she wasn't in charge. Much easier to hold onto the dog and the harness doesn't twist to the side like the others I've tried. Sturdy construction with massive strong snaps, and the rings are strong too. I'd thought it was a little pricey but you get both pieces for the price which is honestly a really good value. I most definitely got what I needed and it was worth every penny. Fast delivery too.

The harness came exactly as described and appreciated the how-to guide. The colour is gorgeous. It took my dog some getting used to (me as well) but we're working it together just fine. I only gave 4/5 stars on durability because one side of the leash has started to wear down. I'm not sure how it happened as we don't rub that side on the harness.

My dog and I are loving this harness! I wanted a harness with both the front and back ring options but was looking for a style harness that my spunky medium sized (45 lb) husky mix can't easily back out of. This harness checked all the boxes and I'm very happy with the quality of the product. From the first time we tried it, my dog's walking has improved to almost completely reduce any pulling. It's not a miracle product - we've been working on mastering loose leash walking for the past year and a half so my dog understands that she's not supposed to pull. However, the front ring leash attachment allows me to gently correct her when she forgets how she's supposed to walk. She still pulls when she's highly distracted or excited but once she settles down she walks amazingly with this harness, and she looks so proud of herself when she corrects herself. Super happy with this purchase! It is complementing our training and loose leash work perfectly.

My dog was an extreme puller. Like I thought I was going to have wrist injuries. Since he is a hound mix, he has the belly size of a lab but a much smaller neck circumference, which made it difficult to find harness that fit him properly and stayed more or less put when he got exctied and pulled. This harness fits him very well. I like the front ring option because it does reduce pulling and the ring sits high enough on the fit that it doesn't cause the leash to get caught up in his front legs too much. I like the martingale ring in the back as well for times when he's not pulling so much because it's very easy for him not to get tangled, even as he runs from side to side. The harness is very easy to clean and is the first one I've found that fits well and doesn't cause my dog's delicate hound belly skin to get super red and chaffy. I did not find the two- carabiner leash to be as helpful as I thought it would be for reducing pulling. It seemed like the carabiner on the back ring was doing more work when he pulled, so I prefer to use a regular and trustworthy strong leash with the just the front ring.

I was skeptical but am now a believer. I have used three different harnesses including a nose haltie on my 18 month old, 60 lb Labradoodle. He is a bad puller. He will pull the entire walk making walks not very enjoyable. The harness and leash arrived today and we just went on a walk and it was amazing. No pulling at all really. If he did dig in to try and pull a verbal redirect and we were on our way again. Hope it wasn’t a fluke but so far so good!! Sorry no photo from the walk! But thank you for Wilbur and I!
