I bought this for a wedding gift and it was very nice. A little on the smaller side, but that just depends on the space you’re putting it. It didn’t look cheaper, tacky by itself when we added the string to it to hang the pictures. I wasn’t a big fan of the look so we didn’t put the string with the pictures on. We hung it just by itself. I also removed the star because of the packaging, it seemed to look like Christmas packaging rather than, a simple neutral packaging.
