Red Titan and the Floor of Lava: Ready-to-Read Graphics Level 1 (Ryan's World)

This was one of the books that got my 6 year old son very interested in reading. The pictures are bold, the words are large and easy to read and the language is perfect for this age group. It is a fun story and we have all three Red Titan's because we love it so much!

My 4 year old loves this book. It has cool pictures, and big easy words for him to learn.

Children's beginning reader graphic novel. I was more than a bit doubtful of the merit of this book, but my son loves the youtube channel so we bought it at the book fair. I was surprised at the book, not that it's an award winner by any means but it's a decent story. The first page has an introduction to reading graphic novels, including the difference between speech and thought bubbles, and which direction to read the panels. The story begins with Combo Panda, Peck the penguin, and Ryan looking for their friend Gus. They realize Gus has already gone up the hill for their picnic and head his way. But the ground starts rumbling and they realize it's not a hill but a volcano! And the catchphrase floor is lava gets used, which of course my son loved. They have to work together to rescue Gus, but it's a bit tricky when the lava melts just about everything. A fun story with a touch of science content. Will be enjoyed most by those who follow the show, but can still be enjoyed as a story in its own right.
