Regardless of how many times she tells him she's not his betrothed.Through stubbornness, arrogance, a weary clan and the mistakes and injustices of previous generations Riona and Hugh find love and each other at the end but will Owen and Maggie find the same in the next book? This book is well written and worth the read if you stick with it. I'm glad I've read it.
