This product is remarkable...I was beside myself with worry about my poor cat, who suddenly became anxious and afraid of everything. I don't know why, but he started jumping out of his skin if he heard a strange noise. He became frightened by all sorts of things, cushions, shoes, boxes… things that had been in the house for years. He'd only come up on the bed if there was a plain cotton sheet or bedspread on it, he wouldn't go near the fleece throw that he used to sleep on.I'd try cuddling him to calm him down and gently put him back on it, but he'd get in a mad panic and run off. It was as if, to him, these things were dangerous in some way. Even a bit of fluff on the carpet he'd eye suspiciously, waiting for it to move. Not in a playful way, though, it really seemed to frighten him.It was so sad to see him terrified all the time. He's an indoor cat so he wasn’t being bullied by another cat in the neighbourhood, or anything. I just couldn’t think what could be causing it.Anyway, my sister suggested that I give Feliway a try. She’d heard good reports about it from one of her friends. I must say I was rather skeptical, thinking how can a scent possibly help matters? But I gave it a go.I bought two, one for the living room and one for the bedroom. It took about a week before I started noticing a change in his behaviour. Then around weeks three to four, he was almost back to his usual relaxed, playful self. I’m mystified as to how it works, but it certainly does.A while later I noticed him getting a bit jumpy again. It was then that I realised that the bottles were empty, so I put in new refills. And after a couple of days, he was back to normal again!… I kid you not.I still don’t know what caused the change in his behaviour, but he is happy again now and, to me, that’s all that matters.

I purchased this in an attempt to calm my cat after a house move and to ease her way into living with a dog. After following all the guidelines online or keeping the pets separate and gradually introducing them to each other she had started to act aggressivelvely giving the unsuspecting dog a swipe every time they walked past the sofa and guarding doorways. Unfortunately I didn't see any improvement using product, which was an expensive lesson to learn. Things just started to improve gradually over time and hopefully still will with lots of attention to both animals and places for the cat to escape. This product may work for some but sadly not my hissy kitty.

Our cat was previously a stray and when we first got her, she refused to eat, drink, or move out from behind the sofa for five days. We were beside ourselves with worry, and the rescue centre we got her from recommended this. The first day it was plugged in, she ate and drank (albeit when we weren't around!)7 months on, she is a different animal, but she still needs these to feel safe and relaxed. We have trialed her without and she was very unsettled at night when we had gone to bed. The three pack is great value and it's nice to have a couple of months supply in the house.

These are brilliant at this price as we were shocked to see how much it cost for 3 in one pack as where we were getting them from they were selling them at over £60.00 for one. When we saw them on Amazon I confronted the pet shop and reported him to the Trading standards and guess what and they closed him down also the animals were poorly kept but honestly if you love animals would you not protect them. He is no longer allowed to keep any kind of animals and these sets are great value for money as we got two packs and will buy more in the near future. We would recommend these as our Cat just sits and sleeps all day which is good peace and quiet now, and I can read a book in peace.

You need to buy a starter kit with plug in dispenser to go with this item, unless already bought. Excellent anti anxiety effect for cats. Lasts about 4 weeks then refill needed. Since some cats can very VERY anxious, using 2 or more each with a dispenser, placed around the house, can be extra effective, including for half feral cats. Won’t stop a cat being feral - but will likely show improvement, which may increase over time, especially if the cat is in a calm and reasonably quiet environment, with a feeding routine and without other potential stressors, including other animals! May perhaps help with other cat problems e.g. scratching furniture (but get a good scratch post too!). Cats can get bored, especially if indoor cats and all cats in bad weather. Felliway can help as part of a solution. When I had a half feral cat with skin allergies, I had two or sometimes three felliway disoensers plugged in round the house. With cats, can be a part contribution to skin allergies in some cases. Can also be bought as spray - useful for intensive anti anxiety action e.g. before taking cat to vet, and sprayed also on fabric in cat carry box (spray needs to dry before use). Similar products for dogs, called Adaptil

I have 3 cats in my house, the most recent addition has had some trouble settling in and to accept when we go away on holiday, so after using Feliway friends to have the order cats accept the new one, the feliway classic was a no brainer for me when I started seeing signs of stress on the new cat.Having had this plugged in for 3 days I can honestly say that I started seeing changes within about 3 hours of having it on as the new cat was starting to show signs of being ok about coming into the room with us. He's now relaxed and content and I will definitely be using this for the foreseeable future.

I've bought these before individually for my aunt to help comfort and calm her two cats, but decided to switch to these after learning you could save by getting them in a pack of three. If you use these regularly, then this multipack is probably a good idea to help save a bit of money and reduce the number of times you'll need to order. Since they're not used by me personally I can't say much about their effectiveness, but whenever I've asked my aunt she's told me that she swears by them, and that they really help to calm her cats down.
