Q: Are any/all of the components dishwasher-safe?

These are the instructions. Simply wash with water and dish soap after the stone drops down to room temperature, wipe out the water and let it air dry. That's all I did ....pretty simple. Don't think I'd put bamboo in a diswasher and I don't know how much water the stones can absorb. So to be safe I just hand washed as per instructions. These are a different and fun way to explore different cooking methods.....had a lot of fun with these. Purchased special hand mitts to be able to handle the heat and those worked nicely also.

Q: Will it work to keep food hot\cold? Can you put it in the freezer?

Yes Make sure it is cool and dry before you put it in the freezer.

Q: Can I order the bamboo platters and stainless steel trays separately? The set only comes with one.
