Q: Would the xxl be good for me my head is little bit over 24 inches and i know it's not dot approved but if i have a wreck would this helmet protect me?

I can't answer the question about if xxl fits 24 inch head. Yes it's not DOT approved and it will not protect you at all. A man at the local motorcycle shop did a test with the novelty one that wasn't dot approved and a dot aproved German helmet and hit them each with a sledge hammer and the dot one just dented and the one that wasn't crushed and broke in half. Crazy to see
