My kids love building. I believe this is a way to move them toward building and engineering. This was a perfect price for this set for Christmas this year. These are amazing and fun, my son plays with them for hours and that is saying ALOT we have even sat down and and played they are really a creative play item. Great for hand eye coordination, fine motor control, creativity, and learning.

Got these for Christmas for my 4&6 yr old boys and they're so great! And works with other magnatiles

the only reason this didn't get 5 stars is the 84PCS NON-MAGNETIC TILES that come with it. They are nice but putting them all in is a pain.

My kid's have been playing with them since they opened them. They have thrown them on the floor, crashed them and build with them for hours. No complaints here. The stickers provided are super sticky so good luck getting them off

I didn't choose this particular set, but my husband did. I was VERY disappointed when it arrived as the description said 135 pcs, and discovered less than half are actually magnetic. This is not why I marked down my rating, though, as this is made clear in the description.PROS: The little hex pieces with stickers swivel, which is pretty cute, and they can be changed out with other pieces.The car/wheels option is unique to this set, and I think that's cool.CONS: I didn't love having to put the stickers on, but it's okay. I didn't take away stars for this, and it's not that big of a deal.There are too many hex pieces for the stickers, about 10. Basically, washed filter I paid for just to appear to have a lot of pieces in the product description, but they're pointless with no receptacle (see next) or design.The fact that there are 26 alphabet pieces and only 20 pieces that have a slot for them is a bit lame. See the photo to see how many pieces at a time don't have a corresponding magnetic block to fit in. It's really pretty useless to have about 40 pieces that just sit around doing nothing since there are only 49 magnetic pieces total with 20 that can hold hex pieces.I was shorted 4 triangle pieces.These aren't the strongest magnets I've seen in a set like this. They're okay, but more square magnetic pieces included would be nice to support the structure since they're not as strong as I'd have hoped.Some of the stickers had lint and stuff on the back, as if previously removed then re-stuck on the backing sheet, so there were bumps when I placed the stickers.A few pieces had little black grease or oil smudges straight out of the package that I had to clean off before being able to place the stickers.
