Very good, especially for the price
We used to get the Bob's Red Mill Kasha, but they don't seem to sell it anymore. Instead, they have the untoasted stuff, just straight up buckwheat, which cooks up like mush. This stuff is great. Nutty flavor, tender, and cooks up nice and separate, not in one big glob like the Bob's Buckwheat. Oh, and it's half the price. You may have to pick out some chaff, but well worth it.

From China and includes carcinogens
I bought two big bags of this. I went to cook it for the first time and realized that it says it’s from China, and it has a Proposition 65 warning on it that says it includes a substance that causes cancer or reproductive harm. Yuck. It’s going straight in the trash.

CHINA PRODUCT
No where in the product description did it say it was from China ! Thought it was grown in the USA. I like to buy from Canada or USA. Product came fast - box was broken open.
