Great Reference
This book was a suggested to me from a expert Speech Path. She had the 2nd edition version and found it to be a great resource that she used almost daily in her practice. I purchased this edition and I LOVE it!! I have used it quite a few times as a reference for my neurology class and as a source in papers. This book is very easy to understand and use for students. I wouldn't recommend this book to be used a "main" textbook in class - there it isn't quite as in depth but it does help to explain things in an easier way.

Outstanding Reference
This is an excellent resource for SLPs, clinicians, and researchers in the field. The text provides essential information and evidence-based examples in a well-organized, cleanly presented manner, and the ancillary materials available online (Evolve at elsevier.com) are an added benefit for both teaching and learning.

Not for the beginner
This is a wonderful text. The subject is heady, but if you are an SLP or SLPA looking for more neuro-knowledge, I recommend this text for additional reading. Of course, if it's a course-assigned text, you don't have a choice, right? :-)
