Each keyhole is for something different. One is for the clock to run, one is for the chimes to work & one is for the hourly strike to work. So it depends on what the customer wants to work. Happy to help.

Q: Does this clock have volumes control?

The 437 has a winding key for the movement. The door is not locking. To change the volume of the chimes the hammers will need to be bent further away from the rods to make it softer. They are adjusted at the plant for maximum sound. If a single note is too soft it might be possible to bend it slightly closer to the rod. Be careful to not bend it too much if the hammer is to close or laying on the rod it will sound flat (dead). Thanks, At Peace Memorials
