ROK Straps Leash Strap, Green/Black, Medium

I have used ROK straps tie-downs on my motorcycle for years, so I know what a high quality product they make. When I saw a positive review about the leash from Youtuber Simpawtico Dog Training, I immediately placed my order without looking at any other brands.The leash has just enough elasticity to make things more comfortable for both you and the dog; if the dog pulls, or comes to a sudden stop, that little bit of give in the leash lessens the shock on your arm and on the dog. The loop on the end is more comfortable than the thin nylon strap leashes, but it's still just a simple loop which helps if you need to tie it off to something temporarily. The leash has a swivel on the attachment point. This helps reduce the leash getting twisted or entangled on the dog. Previously I was using a 6 foot leash, but I find that this leash, which is 4.5 feet, is a more manageable length. It is far less likely to get wrapped around the dogs body of legs, and it keeps the dog closer to me when walking near a busy street, while still giving the dog enough freedom to explore to either side. Finally, the leash has a section near the end closest to the dog that you can grip to get a hold of the dog if you need to maintain tight control over him for some reason.

This is an excellent leash -- strong and sturdy with a good amount of give to it. I came here to buy it after borrowing one from my sister; I knew I needed one of my own. The handle near the collar is really useful if you have an excitable dog. I use this when my pup and I are doing Fast CAT; it's a sport where pretty much ALL of the dogs get excitable while they are waiting, so it pays to have a leash that gives you a good amount of control while still having enough flex to remain comfortable for dog and handler. Love the color as well.

By far the BEST leash I have ever bought!! I have a 100+ lb lab and this leash is perfect. It is heavy duty and I LOVE the handle at the collar. Makes going to the vet so much easier. The middle has just enough give that when he pulls, he knows that's as far as it goes without pulling my arm out of joint. Even my vet has complimented it! I will never buy another brand again. Ordering a lighter weight one for my other dog.

This leash is amazing. One of the only leashes my puppydoesnt want to chew.leash is very strong and gives me so much control with a jumping pup. Will definitely keep purchasing when we need a replacement

I've tried quite a few bungee type leashes for our dogs and this is the best one I've found so far. I purchased this one for our 40# hound that we take hiking in various settings frequently. I wanted a leash that had enough give to allow her to scent track, but not encourage her to keep pulling harder due to rewarding her with too much give, one that dried quickly when used at the beach or rivers, one that cleaned up easily, had a built in traffic handle for using in town. This leash has been great in fitting all those needs. The handles, traffic and normal, are very comfortable to hold. The stretch of the bungee does a lot of self correcting for pulling and she pulls much less than she has using previous leashes. I also purchased a smaller size for my Chihuahua and it works very well for him too. Using a seatbelt through the traffic handle in the car is easy to secure them in the car without needing additional attachments.Shipping was fast and the item was well packaged. I would buy this product again and highly recommend it.

Made to last. My dog really likes it. Before we had a very cheap leash that choked our dog a lot. This leash minimizes that problem very well. The traffic handle is also a very nice feature!

We love this leash! We feel less jarring and strain walking our dogs with this leash. It really absorbs a lot of the force when our dogs pull. In an ideal world, we would better train our dogs not to pull, but we are not perfect. I love that I can grab the part closer to the dog's collar if a shorter leash is needed, as when people are walking by. Great leash!

Exceptionally strong and well made. It is heavy though so even though we use it on one of our smaller puppies, it really is designed for dogs that weigh 40+ pounds.Of course there is the question of whether you would want to have an elastic leash on a dog from training point of view. It is a trade off between having your back pulled out of alignment when the dog bolts vs teaching them to not do that. So we currently alternate between these and regular leashes.
