I recently moved to a new home and needed to update my bedroom lamps last week. I travel a lot for work and have gotten use to the lamps in hotels that have built in sockets for charging stuff. I decided to search amazon to see if I could find something like what I see in Hampton Inns and Embassy Suites etc, and found these.Decided to take a chance and order one. I always wonder about buying stuff like this online and the quality etc... I prefer for see and touch when spending this kind of money.Shipping was fast (3 days) and the item arrived packed in its box very well.As I unboxed it, I could tell this thing was a quality piece. The base was good and heavy and the lamp shade was thick and did not feel nor look cheap. Likewise the power cord was very think and seemed of excellent quality. The switches seem robust and the charging ports are perfect. Bottom line - this lamp is SOLID.It took about 2 minutes to get everything assembled and it looks really really good.The main thing I liked about this one, vs the other ones that also have USB ports, is this one has a 3-prong plug (many of the others I saw only were 2 prong), and I have a Dell Alienware laptop I like to use plugged in for photo and video editing, and this allows me to keep it powered up while working in bed in the evenings if I need to.I've noticed over the past couple of days, the USB seems to charge my iPhone 6s+ very fast. Faster than the stock apple charger even. That may be my imagination, but anyways, it works well.If you're looking for a high quality lamp with these 2 kinds of plugs, you can not go wrong with this one.I'm about to buy another one for the other side of the bed.

my old desk lamp was half this size but it was great. as with manyy years use it past away..I saw this one and was hesitant but I bought it. best desk lamp you can ever buy. nice and sturdy, two light switches on the front which is great because you don't have to fumble under the shades. fantastic amount of light, and you can fit a pair of glasses at the bottom of the stand. now I don't lose them under the paperwork. if you need a new lamp this is it!!!

I have an office in neutrals at home, with blues, grays, tans, and silver. I really needed more light on the large conference-like table, and this lamp delivers! I got just what I wanted-very understated, with a hotel-like neutrality, and hardy. This lamp looks architectural, and is very sturdy. I love the usb and extra socket, plus the double on/off switches for each 60 watt bulb. The lamp shade is made of a durable, clean material so that it can be wiped and cleaned, which I love. No delicate cloth or weak materials to ruin on this one! I have whiter incandescents in so the shade naturally looks white.The lights make the office a totally better place to work because they really give off the power and beauty that I like.Very nice and a great addition!! It is a well made and solid product. Works perfectly for my home office with an AC outlet and a USB 2 separate lights add to versatility.

We already purchased 3 Possini pendants last year.

I love the contemporary style; really nice. However, if using in a bedroom you will find that the on/off switch is difficult to reach when in bed. If you’re reading or watching television you will have to get out of bed to reach control button.

I have been wanting a "hotel lamp" for awhile. It is just really convenient to be able to plug in your cell phone to charge it and or plug in a tablet. The last hotel I stayed at motivated me to begin searching for the right lamp. I wanted one with not only a usb connection but also a regular electrical outlet. I searched online and even talked to my sister who had recently purchased a "hotel lamp" for herself. Although her lamp was nice, it was quite a bit shorter than mine and it didn't have two bulbs so when I found this particular lamp on Amazon, I decided to order it and I was so excited when it arrived at my house. It was super easy to assemble and it is just the right height and size for my end table. I absolutely love this lamp and having it makes it so quick and easy to charge my phone. In fact, this lamp has TWO USB ports so I can charge my phone using one while using my tablet with the other. It is also convenient when I have my friends or family over because they are able to charge their phones as well, without my having to go hunt down an extension cord. I was hesitant about the price at first but now, after having used my lamp for nearly two months now, I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this lamp to others. There are two lights, as mentioned before, so you can use both lights to make it brighter or you can use only one bulb if you don't want the light quite as bright. Again, great lamp that I would highly recommend to anyone looking for this same style of lamp. I may even purchase another one for my bedroom.

The USB charger works great and the additional power outlet is handy for other things.My only suggestion would be to have TWO USB outlets instead of just one.By the way, the Orkin man admired the lamps and asked where I purchased them and was delighted to learn Amazon carried them.People love having a place that is handy to plug in clocks, cell phones, and iPads.
