Works great and adjustable temp great for tea or for my french press k-cup
Love this Kettle it works great and changes colors depending on the temperature you select. Very easy to use and looks clean on the countertop. The only thing I wish every kettle like this had is Cup measurements on the side.

brings to a full rapid boil
I've used several of these and this is the first one that reaches a full rapid boil just like a kettle on a stove. The way the handle locks into place is also nice since it makes it much more solid when you pick it up to pour. The inside of the handle area has ridges to protect your hand which is really nice. Also, there is NO metal band around the front base part so no part to burn my hand on. Of all of the collapsible travel kettles I have used, this is by far my favorite.

Indespensible Kitchen Electric at High Elevation
When I moved to a high-elevation home doing simple tasks like boiling water became guesswork. It's hard to get anything to a roiling boil without an inordinate amount of time. Using an electric tea kettle solved the problem of "a watched pot never boils" (LOL).This temperature-controlled electric glass tea kettle is not only an attractive design but an excellent price for the money. It offers the addition of digital temperature controls which no other electric kettles in this price range offers. The features are almost too good to be true for the price since many of the brands that include temperature controls start at $75. I thought "There has to be a catch!". Was it one of those brands that would last 2-3 months and just stop working, as has been my experience with no-name electric kettles past? There were not enough reviews of the glass-model to know for sure. Did it come with a skimpy 90-day manufacturer warranty — or none at all? The product description and existing reviews didn't say. Was it going to be short the third prong on the cord and/or non-UL listed (a safety hazard)? I have purchased Chinese-branded electrics on Amazon in the past that overloaded my outlet and burned out the socket so confirming this information prior to purchase was essential. Unfortunately, Amazon kept removing (or not permitting to post) my Q&A for this item. I called and also attempted a support chat but nobody at Amazon could provide any more product details. For the benefit of other buyers, here is the missing information: The actual manufacturer per the user manual is Nostalgia Electrics (brand name). There is a one-year warranty. It is UL listed. There is a third-prong. There is nothing to suggest it is BPA free. It has a hard plastic "screen" behind the glass spout — not the nylon type I have seen on other pots — which is incorporated into the plastic lid so I'm guessing it is NOT BPA free (the only real drawback, IMHO).The digital controls are straightforward. The color confirms the temperature (every time you put it back on the base-plate it will take a temperature read which is coordinated to the LED color it will flash). Despite the glass version lacking insulation the lid is a snug fit so it seems to hold the temperature quite well. If you fill past the "Max" line it will over-boil if on the boil setting. (On other pots I have owned going slightly over Max did not cause water to flow out the sides. The first time I used this, that is what happened with this one.)In summary, this electric pot is an excellent value for the money. The only thing that remains to be seen is if it will last 3 full years of daily use, which is the most I have gotten out of any electric tea pot to date.

Nice functions and quality with its price
Work perfect as expected. It has temperature control by different color indicator, but not warm keeping function.

It does what it says it will do
I really like the pot but the dial on the front is wonky. Not sure if I got a defective one or not, but needed it so didn't send it back for exchange. But it does heat the water just like it claims to

Works great, adjustable temp too
Perfect to power by inverter or portable power station. Consumes 480 watts of power. What's great is that this model allows you to set a temperature. Most dont do that.

Takes about 7-8 minutes to boil
Shipping almost takes a month, but the water pot so far works pretty good.
