Dockers Men's Classic Fit Comfort Cargo Pants

Love these pants! As far as how they fit, I started with a 34W x 32L (my usual size), and after trying them on, felt with the included expansion feature in the waist that I could go down one size in the waist and be even better. I then ordered the smaller 33W x 32L size and found the waist fit nicely yet still had an inch of room to expand if needed. The inseam length is actually 31-3/4" and I only need a 31" inseam. Since this style wasn't available in a 31" inseam, they are a bit long as expected; however, I can fold them up inside at the hem and you can't really tell. As these are all-cotton, I'm sure they will shrink in both the waist and length over time and be just right later on, so I'm keeping all four pairs I later ordered in the 33W x 32L size. I wanted one more pair, so decided to order that additional one in the 32W x 32L size just to see how the fit at the waist and through the seat and thigh would differ. The waist at that size is about perfect for my liking (I like them to be slightly snug and stay up on their own without a belt), but if the waist in this size shrinks a lot, then the waist might become a bit tight over time. This pair with the 32" waist feels like it fits a little better in the seat and thigh, but looking in the mirror and taking pictures of myself, I really can't tell any visual difference. Also, laying the 32" waist pair directly over the 33" waist pair, I don't find any significant difference in any of the other dimensions. I bought these for the convenience of storing a cell phone in the cargo pocket without having to look like I'm wearing cargo pants. My large iPhone 13 Pro Max with a rugged case around it fits nicely in the cargo pocket. It is very comfortable to have the phone in the pocket and the pocket doesn't bulge out like with typical cargo pants. Now, if they only made a version of these in jean material as well, that would be ideal!

I'm very reluctant to buy clothes online, but these worked out just great. As with most of my clothes, I just toss them into the washer and dryer and if they survive, they're good. And that's exactly what I did with these. They survived a regular wash cycle in warm water and a full dry cycle with normal heat. Perfect. The look and fit is great too. They're not outrageously "cargo" like (with too many huge bulging pockets)--instead, they have one extra zippered pocket on the right thigh--good location, well designed, but a bit small. These, of course, are "comfort" pants, meaning they have an expandable elastic waist. I'm not a big fan of "comfort waist pants," but these fit perfectly and the expandable waist is completely hidden and not noticeable at all. Overall, I'd have to say this was a good online purchase.PROS:--Nice looking, good design--Comfortable to wear--Very washable--Seem reasonably durable, time will tell.CONS:--"Cargo" pocket is a bit small and seems a superficial addition to make them "cargo" pants.--Some may not like the expandable waistOn the whole, very good pants indeed. Perhaps the reason these were a good online purchase is, in fact, the expandable waist--they're more likely to fit without the benefit of trying them on in a store first. (Never thought I'd endorse "comfort fit" pants, but there you go...)

Length and waist were spot on, perfect amount of space in the seat. I have washed once, cool water, not much shrinkage

I originally found a pair of these pants at Sears and really liked the fit and feel of them. Dockers, in general, fit me well. To give a bit of perspective, I am 5' 11" and weigh 170 lbs. Unfortunately, Sears doesn't carry these pants in many colors, even through they're available, but Amazon has them all. Since I knew my size, I just ordered them from Amazon. They arrived, fit perfectly, and are exactly the color I was expecting.Two additional pluses for these pants are that they have a built-in elastic expansion waistband, so that they are extremely comfortable to wear, and the pants are cut high to wear above the waist. The pockets are deep so even my iPhone 6+ fits in them comfortably. The one cargo pocket on the right leg is opened and closed with a zipper and is roomy enough to throw in keys, a folded map, or whatever it is that you can't put in a normal pocket.If you're looking for an inexpensive pair of pants that has an extra cargo-style pocket, these pants are perfect. My only quibble, and it's minor, is that there is no center crease on the leg, so while these pants might be acceptable for the weekend, they probably are too casual for some situations. For me, they're ideal and I now own a few pair and wear them regularly.

I really like these cargo pants for two reasons: the extra zippered pocket and the comfort waistband. The extra pocket gives me a place to keep my reading glasses without worrying about bending or breaking them. With an integral pocket rather than the typical bellows external pocket, the trousers remain sleek, and I can wear them for casual business and in my role as a teacher. This makes them more versatile. The zipper helps make the pocket more secure. The waistband accommodates tucking shirts in or leaving them untucked, as well as times when a meal like Thanksgiving dinner needs to be accommodated.What I don't like: These trousers are getting harder and harder to find. They used to come in dark blue, but that color has not been available for years. When I ordered the trousers the last time, I saw that black has been discontinued. That leaves only four colors: desert sand, light khaki, steelhead, and green. Green?! Why get rid of blue and black but keep green? These should be marketed as a comfort crossover pant, not a cargo pant. And they should be available in colors that work well for casual business days and other situations in which dress pants are too formal and cargo pants are too casual. Please, give me back dark blue and black!

My husband wasn’t thrilled when the exact style was no longer available. These fit just the same and look more streamlined since there are less pockets. Good choice and happy customer. We will be buying more in different colours.

My husband uses these for work and loves the fit. They are true to sizing and durable. The cargo pocket holds a few items without bulging and has a zipper for secure closing. These pants also feature button flaps for both back pockets, which was important to him.
