After you take the grill apart, easy to install
Several parts of the grill required replacing including the control panel. When taking the grill apart to that level replacing the Hot Rod was a not brainer and simple..

good ignitor
my older pellet smoker was flunky, I would always be doing a manual fire start..I stopped and went back to full auto, when i bought and replaced this ignitor.. works great,Used it 'full auto' for an easter ham..great price I recommend

Fixed the Grill, Louisiana Pellet
Easy to repair on my model if you have basic tools. Take out the grates, then unscrew the screws holding it in place inside the grill. Then remove the side cover of the hopper/electronics box, unplug the old igniter. Install is reverse.Fired right up in the grill no issues no codes on the computer. Previous OEM ignited lasted over 6 years with good hard use and this seems just as good if not better.
