Well designed, good shape & size, works as advertised
Divers have several emergency air choices. This is one of the best and it's been around since the 1980s. Compact and self-contained, it is entirely independent of your normal air supply. Strap it to your BC and it's readily available for you or your buddy. You fill it from a larger 3000 psi tank using an included adapter, which works well. With only 3 cu ft of air, the dent it takes out of the larger tank is barely noticeable, about 100 PSI drop from a full Al 80 tank. And you can disassemble it for travel.I find that the 3 cu ft (small size) is more than enough for emergency use; I would not want to carry a larger one, nor take the hit when refilling it.During dives it feels close to neutrally buoyant. The little tank can be reused, hydro tested and inspected just like a larger scuba tank, so it should last for many years. The built-in regulator durability/longevity is unknown, only time will tell.

A must for any Diver.
Been diving for years and recently dove in the Florida Keys, (Ramrod) soon to return to Key Largo. Never had to depend on a redundant source but certainly glad to have SpareAir if needed. I'd highly recommend to upgrading the pressure indicator (SpareAir) that has a pressure number indicator. I did preform a test when I was in the Keys and SpareAir worked perfectly.

Works great.
I love this little pony bottle! I hopefully will never have to use it, but I have been practicing with it. It is a very nice feeling to have that little bit of extra air just in case.It fills very easy from your main tank, and I have attached it to the bottom of my BC. There is a little 'drag' when breathing but not too bad.I get about 3-5 minutes out of it in the pool.
