I’ve been baking my sourdoughs in this dutch oven lately. It has a low profile, no lid handle on top, and fits into a toaster oven. I’ve cooked stews in the bbq and on an open fire. It cleans up easy and looks stylish where ever it goes. It’s a classic!

I needed a compact solution for cooking in our van. We have only ones drawer, and one burner on our cooktop. This not only is beautiful and good quality, but also worked wonders when I needed to cook a protein and veggies to be completed together. Cooked meat on grill side first, then kept hot by stacking over main pot as it cooked veggies directly on burner. Essentially “steaming” and turned out perfect! Want another for my house! Heavy and cleaned up easily (slight sticking with eggs using butter, but that’s an issue with every pan I’ve ever used). Five stars!

I love that I can now cook like my mother but not have to worry about the sticking or worry about ruining the cast iron by ruining the seasoning. I did have a problem with chipping of the enamel but the seller replaced the pan immediately and have had no problem with the second set at all. Both the top and the bottom may be used by themself on top of the stove or in the oven. The top may be used as a lid to seal in the moisture so I can cook on low and have wonderful moist and tender meat! I have found, however, that it is better to put the lid on so the handle is not exactly over the handle of the bottom for easier removal when it is hot.

These were a gift, i have since ordered me a set. They are well made and priced right.

Ich bin begeistert und würde 6 Sterne geben... Wirklich super - perfekte Größe, exzellente schwere Qualität, die höhen Kanten sinn gut gegen die Spritzer. Benutze es für Woks, Saucen, Kuchen etc. Erst anbraten und dann ins Ofen ist kein Problem. Reinigung ist einfach, bei bedarf nehme ich etwas Natron/Soda dazu. Den Deckel benutze ich nicht. Ist zur Zeit meine Lieblingspfanne.

Remplace toutes mes casseroles. Je fais tout avec cocotte
