Fantastic early learning gift.
I bought this for my 18 month old twin granddaughters and they absolutely love it. They sre fascinated by all sorts of fastenings and spend time trying to unzip bags, and undo any fastening they can find. This provides all of those experiences in one place, with nothing dangerous lurking beneath. Great for visual and motor learning skills, highly recommended.

Fantastic
A brilliant item for a car journey or in church. Keeps the wee man amused with plenty to do as he fidgets.

Lightweight.
The velcro letters and numbers are a bit flimsy but overall the quality is good.

Brilliant teaching aid and fun activity.
This little teaching aid is such a brilliant idea. It will help your youngster become familiar with every form of fastening they may come across on a daily basis and also helps them recognise numbers from 1-10 and all the capital letters of the alphabet. So the little self contained folder is made of stiff felt. It measures 11 inch across ( not including the handles) and 17.5 inch once opened up. It’s a nice size for a youngster to carry about and could be stored away easily and tidily. As you can see from my photos the outside has numbers on one side and letters on the other. You get a pack of Velcro numbers and letters to correspond with them so your child can stick them onto the outside. They do attach really well and obviously as a parent you can talk them through what each shape means. Inside there are lots of bright colourful fastenings to undo and do back up again. There’s poppers, Velcro, buttons, belts of varying types, toggles, zips and those slide fastenings. So a whole range of things to have a go at with varying degrees of difficulty. There’s also a little shoe to practice tying laces and a clock with movable hands for learning how to tell the time. Finally there are two cogs that rotate driving each other round. I think you could certainly start introducing these skills from about 3 years of age. I have a youngster in mind but as he hasn’t visited yet I tried this out on a six year old who loved proving her skills although there’s a couple of fastenings she’s yet to master. This is a well made, well thought out ‘toy’. It’s worth the money as I can see this really helping parents teach their youngsters the skills they will need going forward. I wish I’d had this when my daughters were little as it turns a lesson into a fun activity. Definitely five stars from me.

Bright, colourful and tests dexterity
Busy Board Montessori Toy.A unisex toy suitable for toddlers. An easy to carry, easy to store colourful case. A mix of textures with 18 dexterity and visual learning challenges. These include, three types of toggles, 5 different styles of belt fastenings, a zip, 2 buttons, a Velcro fastener, a shoe lace to tie, poppers, a felt clock with dials, plastic turning cogs, 1-10 counting with Velcro numbers and A-Z with Velcro letters. Plus a loop and button case fastener with carry handles.I like the idea of this toy with its bright colours and multiple challenges. Many of these were quite stiff to undo/ do up for my adult hands, so I think that they might be too hard for some toddlers. I liked the number and letter boards with the Velcro letters / numbers. It is a shame that these come in a plastic bag which might easily get lost. A small attached felt bag for these would have been a nicer idea. The colours are bold and the challenges are sticked down strongly. While the outer hen sticking is also strong. I personally think that this is too much for a 1 year old, I think a 2-3 year old would get more use from it, especially if it is used as back-up play for things that they will learn at playschool / nursery school / pre-school. Many schools will test children on their manual dexterity in early years learning, so this toy does have merit as a learning aid.

Interactive, educational and fun
This is a nice, colourful, lightweight, and portable busy board that is a great interactive toy for youngsters. I have 3 boys aged 2, 6 and 9 and all three of them were intrigued by this busy board and it kept my younger one busy for a long time. These types of busy boards are great at supporting the child's natural learning process through different activities that develop hand-eye coordination, fine motor skills, perseverance, logical thinking, and memory. This ‘toy’ will help your little one become familiar with daily things like how to tie and untie shoes, snap buttons and zip up. These were the things I was struggling to teach my kids and now they are practising them on the busy board as a game. It also allows kids to manipulate the small and big hands on a clock and teaches kids their ABC’s and numbers. This busy board turns into a light bag that can be easily carried everywhere and will also serve as a great gift idea. The only downside is it doesn't come in a box.Overall, this is a great activity to teach kids independence as well as fine motor skills.

Perfect!
When I saw this I was worried my 3 year old Granddaughter would be too old for this but I was so wrong, it's aimed towards the pre-schoolers to help encourage them learn about their alphabet, their numbers, fastening their shoe lace, clipping and unclipping buckles and fastening clothes items and even learning about the clock. It's such a fantastic item to prepare Children for entering the big world and my 3 year old Granddaughter felt like such a big girl for having her own busy board. I thought it was so useful for the little one's my Granddaughter took it to pre-school with her the other day to show her friends and I know a few of the parents were asking where they could get their toddlers a busy book. I highly reccomend this! It's a brilliant educational item for the price and I especially like how my Granddaughter can fold it up to put away nicely.Even the buckles and clips etc are very good quality, they aren't too difficult to clip, because as we all know with toddlers they are easily frustrated but this toy was designed especially to not be too difficult for them to figure it all out.Highly reccomend this toy for the little ones preparing to transition to big School!
