This bowl is certainly cute with the smiling cat face looking at you, but that is not the reason that I purchased it. I have been searching everywhere for the perfect soup bowl. I wanted one that was not plastic like most of the Asian ramen bowls out there. I was looking for porcelain so that it would be lighter than other ceramics. The shape is elegant and the bowls stack. It is also excellent for any rice dish. If you like Oyakadon (Japanese scrambled egg and chicken dish) or any other curry rice type dish this is the perfect size, not too big and not too small although it is sizable enough for ramen. There is a matching cat bowl that is perfect for a small bowl of rice.

Bought this and the matching blue one for a his-and-hers ramen bowl set for me and the SO. She flipped out over the cuteness (in a good way). We both love the bowls. Also, these are the perfect size for salads when your salads are meal-sized and not side salad-sized. They work in the dishwasher and the microwave. The designs on them also don't scratch off. Overall, wonderful bowls with great quality. They make great gifts, too.

Love these bowls. Perfect size for ramen & a number of other food dishes. Great quality, safe for microwave & dishwasher. The color is more pigmented than in the original buying photo.

My boyfriend and I LOVE ramen. Whether it's out of the package or using fresh noodles from the asian market, it's one of our favorite dishes. My brother got me a set of these bowls, and unfortunately when they came in the mail, one was broken. The packaging was not well done. They bowls seemed to be just floating around inside a giant box with only a few air-puffed packing bags. I sent it, back, no problem, and reordered a pink one in it's place. Now we have a blue and a pink. I know... adorable :)

I really like these bowls, so far. They seem to be of good quality and the cat theme is well done. I did have some difficulty getting the product labels off tho. I would buy more of the other sizes and styles in the future.

Cute, but not what I ordered. I ordered the large noodle bowl with the cat inside the bowl and got a much smaller one with the car outside. Very annoying as it was a gift to someone and was shipped straight to their house, so I found out too late.

I love them! Cute, good quality and good size. Big enough for a meal and also suitable for soup, oatmeal and so forth. They are now my everything bowls.

This bowl is really nice. It feels very high quality and durable, and the design is very nice. This product ships from the US, but even so, I arrived on Monday even though I ordered it on Friday. Very fast shipping. If you have 30$ to spend on a bowl, you will like this one!!
