Awful product. No cushion or padding is added to rug. After only having this a few months, I looked under the rug and it stuck to my real wood floors. I had to scrape off all the little bumps and vaccum while doing it. Awful awful awful. Better to spend the money on a nice rug pad that will last.

I have always been a believer in using rug pads. I am a nurse who provides in home care to the elderly. When I walk into a patients home for the first time, I always look around to see if there are any hazards. Rugs can be a major slipping hazard, particularly if my patient has a walker or if they have pets (pet owners you know what I am talking about). Thus, I recommend to my patients that they either put away their rugs or use a rug pad. I have seen many different brands used over the years and this one is excellent. It is thin enough not to cause a tripping hazard, but really keeps rugs in place. I have a little trick that I have been using for years that I will share:Flip rug overLay rug pad over your rug and trim so it is slightly smaller than your rugUse tape to attach the rug pad to the corners of your rug (on the underside)Flip back overOn a personal note, I have three dogs, two cats, and two teenage daughters. Trust me. The Ninja rug pads really work.

My carpet hasn't budged! I have a very rambunctious dog who would constantly be sliding our carpet around the room by running on it. Now the carpet doesn't budge at all when he comes tearing through the house.

This anti-slip pad is priced lower than many of the alternatives. We purchased the 6x9 pad for a rug that was approximately 5x7. Once installed, the formerly dangerously slippery rug will not move. To trim the pad, here's what I would recommend: Flip your rug upside down, place the pad over the rug, aligning two sides so that the excess pad hangs over the edge of the rug, then use a utility knife to gently cut through the pad about 1" from the edge. To secure the pad to the rug I used gorilla tape (though any duct tape should work) rolled into a loop so that it adheres to both the rug and the pad. This pad is somewhat slimmer than others that we own and does not offer as much of a plush feeling. Not an issue for us but something for you to consider.

The Ninja rug pad was delivered on time and the product itself looked like it was a quality item. The padding was decent and not thin. I opened the bag it was in and the smell hit me right away. I figured maybe it was just a combination of the bag and it being new and opened it up and stretched it across my apartment floor figuring it would air out. I started to do something else and realized I was getting dizzy and opened all the windows. After an hour of it smelling up my entire apartment I put it back in the bag and box and am sending it back.

I am a scientist and I have a shop at home and use lot's of solvents and chemicals and am generally very tolerant of chemical odors, and gernally don't mind new plastic or rubber chemical smells, but I've never bought an indoor product that has as strong a chemical odor as this product. We have a large house and within 5 minutes we could smell this thing throughout the house. If we stand close to it as it sits on the floor, my wife and I get a headache - I NEVER get headaches.If you read a lot of the reviews, it seems that before about mid 2019 there were few if any reports of strong chemical odors, but since that time there are quit a number. I can't imagine anyone not being bothered by this smell - no product should smell this strongly of chemicals.I plan to air it outside for a day, but if it is not completely gone by then, I will return it.I highly recommend NOT to buy this product.

The Ninja Brand rug pad is a miracle solution. My foyer rug, which is in a very high-traffic area, was always sliding and rumpled. I put this pad under my rug and boom, my rug lies flat and stays firmly in place! My rug is a unique size, and it was very easy to trim the pad. It also provides a layer of cushion under your feet while being thin enough so you can not see the rug pad underneath. The Ninja Brand product has no chemical odor like other brands I have purchased in the past. I will be buying more Ninja Brand pads for other rugs in my home. A true 5-star product!

Perfect for my area rug. It can still be adjusted if needed but it stays in place nicely too. It is very thin, but I wasn't looking for much by way of padding.I did have to air the pad out for a couple hours near open windows because it smelled super unpleasant once taken out of its package. I didn't need to trim anything on the 6x9 pad. I ordered this brand because of reviews and price (way cheaper than anywhere else).

This has really strong fumes when you open it. Strong odour.I recommend airing it outside for a day before installing in your home.
