Soft, gentle on skin, very thin and comfortable.
These are short, may try the longer ones in the future. But they may be too long. These work as expected but each individual is different as to the amount of protection you need. I don’t notice much if any irritation from these like I did with other brands. The only thing I don’t care for is they don’t keep the odor down as well as other Tena products. We used the more diaper style with older relative and the gel or whatever kept her skin very dry - as these do - but with those (from 10-12 yrs ago) - you didn’t seem to get a urine or off odor. These once they get wet - smell more than I’d like. You have to change a lot even if still pretty light (I.e., almost no fluid accumulated). They don’t have the heavy perfume some have which is good and bad....good to not irritate your skin but nothing to cover up if you don’t get to change as soon as you leak. I think these are the best of the best out there. I got because of thinness and they are thin plus the “fabric” is soft against the skin and absorb well but as I say, these are very lite and thin. You may want to go up in thickness if used out and about and you aren’t a super light leaker. These particular ones are best suited to those who drip more than leak..sorry to be graphic. I use the heavy ones for traveling, and moderate during the day and these light ones around home where I have a restroom close at hand. It sounds counter, but I use the lite ones at night too because I’m right at home, don’t sleep soundly so I can get up. Also I like to let more air in and around the lady parts at night. If you sleep sound and worry about heavier leakage, you wouldn’t want these at night. Like I say...a little better odor neutralization (not odor coverup) is the only thing I believe that needs improvement. Maybe it is just me - you have to try for yourself. Listen an important last item...check the Tena website for samples of ones you want to try and really good coupons. They have several kits for both pads and for underwear type. They also have for both men and women. They seem to be very helpful in helping you find the ones that best suit your needs. If you signup, they send coupons off and on.

Not Like They Used to Be
O.K. here we go. These pads are not like the old (discontinued) Tena Ultra Thin Pads Anywhere even though Tena tells you, but if you call, they have replaced that particular pad. Tena Ultra Thin pads Anywhere were listed as HEAVY protection, and as I remember contained little beads that were very absorbant. I know, because I cut one up and had beads all over the place. These "replacement pads" are filled with soft cottony stuff and a few beads here and there. (I cut one of these apart, too.} The Ultra Thin Pads Active pads do not protect anywhere near as well as the old Ultra Thin Anywhere pads, but they do fit similarly in that they move with you. In other words, they fit in such a way that they feel like they feel like they are up inside you a little and you don't feel the drips as they are occurring. Unfortunately, they also bunch up.So, that said this is what I have come up with that works for me. I put this pad, the (smaller) Serenity Thin Pad Active, on top of a Tena Serenity Thin Pad Moderate Absorbancy Long. As I said the small pad absorbs pretty well, and if necessary I can pull it off of the larger, long, pad andreplace it, continuing to use the long pad as an anchor. This solves the bunching up issue, and if there is any leakage the long pad takes care of it. You may ask why not use the long pad alone. Because it accumulates any urine it is supposed to deal with in a little puddle in the middle of the pad and absolutely none of it gets to the rest of the pad. It didn't used to do that, but it does now.I don't know how a company like Tena stays in business. They certainly know how to make good products, but they change things so often that I don't know what I am ordering much of the time. I wish they would bring back the beads, and not lie and tell me that the new products are the same as the old ones when they aren't.

Mom likes these better than Poise or Always
Purchased for my mom who couldn't use a computer if I would help her get one, bless her heart. Lol! She has used a couple other brands that I got for her and she would have issues with them. She asked me this last time if I could try and get her these Tena brand if they weren't too much. She said they were pretty expensive in the store and didn't want to buy them there. So, I purchased these and it came with two bags of 30 each.I called her a couple days after she got them and she told me right off that she used them the first night and when she got up at night to go to the bathroom she thought for sure she hadn't wet them because they looked dry and felt dry. She said they were totally saturated and she didn't even feel it against her skin!!!I think she said they didn't seem heavy either if I recall it correctly. I had bought her the Always Xtra Protection Daily Liners, Long Feminine Panty Liners, Fresh Scent, 72 Count - Pack of 4 (288 Total Count) and also Poise Ultra Thins Light Absorbency Pads, 30 Count (Pack of 2) and Poise Incontinence Pads, Moderate Absorbency, Regular, 132 count Disposable Absorbent Pads . With both the Poise and Always she would find no relief in the issues she was having. None of them were absorbent enough or caught a leak as it was happening, like trying to get to the toilet and they felt wet too.So she is very happy with these and if she leaves the house to go somewhere, she puts one on with confidence. I'm so glad these are working for her. She has had a few public embarrassments and it's great to know she won't be having those anymore.

Thin enough for everyday comfort
I use this product around the house where I can always make it to the bathroom when the urge hits. I use this around the house and switch to the heavier more absorbent pad when I leave the house.
