Dark Horse Deluxe Mass Effect: Alliance Cruiser Ship Replica

Came in faster then I expected, Zero issues with the timely shipping of the product.The product itself is exactly the quality I have come to expect from darkhorse replicas. I Already own a Normandy sr-2 and a turian cruiser and this one is about a size and a half of those if using them for measure. The detailing on the model itself is very good as well as the weight. The paint job is quality with nearly no color overlap. If you are a Mass effect fan then purchase this product as soon as you can as Bioware seems to have discontinued its partnership with darkhorse to continue making more models.

It was a nice ship it is well painted and realist that way but it as also bent out of shape where the cannon pointed in the wrong direction and when I tried to unbend it it snapped I was able to glue it on but if it wasn't bent I would have given five stars I am still on the fence if I want to by a new one.

Awesome item, it's very nice and a great collectible, however, when I inserted the display pole into the bottom it simply passed straight through the whole thing, as the whole they put in the bottom evidently passed through the entire thing. This doesn't seem to be a normal thing, but I advise caution when working with it. I am going to have to put something in the hole to keep it mounted. But otherwise just gorgeous.

Big. Looks great snd authentic. A must have for any mass effect fan. Just be careful when u install it on the mount. Be gentle.

Love the series of games (besides andromeda) and this model is amazing!! Sits right on my centerpiece.

Liked the detail and paint job of the model. But, 1st one broke at the base to ship mount point. Don't try to force the pin into the ship. 2nd one didn't have the same issues.

Having played the games i thought given this is Bioware approved the quality would be high, Now yes this looks exactly like it does in the game from the design perspective. However the paint job is poor at best i would use a more accurate and descriptive term but this is a review. No isses with the seller asides from the free code each ship is supposed to come with was missing also an issue to consider when buying. Now the paint job because this makes or breaks the product it is not good. the detail is poor the contrast also poor. the efforts made to 'highlight' and add detail amount to massive grey blobs on the engine extensions for reasons. Avoid unless you are a true collector but don't go in with high hopes of it being painted by someone anyone even a poorly skilled painted frankly could do a better job. Me half a sleep in the middle of the night could do a better job. I do recommend the Normandy however whoever painted that was skilled and it came with the game code.

I always liked the look of the alliance ships in the games and since I already own the shuttle I thought why not get another model, however I will be sending this one back due to the fact that the stem of the base really doesn't support the model and considering it must have been the diet version, meaning it's far too skinny and fragile compare ed to what they look like in the games

Looks a lot different in person but still amazing. Build quality is amazing as it is well painted. Brilliant for a show piece. I am a massive Mass Effect fan and this sits proudly on my desk with the SR1 & SR2. Dark Horse have some brilliant quality Mass Effect models.

Nice but not so steady

This is the first Mass Effect replica ship I have owned and so I cannot compare it to earlier models such as the Normandy, which I understand had a poor quality finish. I can say that I am very pleased with the paintwork and build quality of this model. It does justice to a very graceful ship and looks great on my shelf. The custome base adds to the overall premium feel. Would recommend.
