This works great without cellular of coarse no need to lol up camp sites and or elevation pitch roll and or barometer it’s all in the app. Took me a bit to figure out the wallpapers background and other features that are really not explained in the manual but that was the joy of getting to know the device. Gave me more confidence in the functions. However the cable that I received was a standard power cable and not a T20-30-40 traffic cable to use in the regular street navigation would be nice to have traffic like my old GPS drive gps. The app is there but the function won’t pick up the HD signal and allow traffic to work. Maybe there another hidden feature that needs to be found to get this subscription or app to work don’t know. A lot of really good features that work two a car mode and a trailer mode just like the RV gps so with the trailer mode it gives you advanced warning turns and 6% grades ahead constantly pulling a trailer is ideal but if it’s on the car mood not many warnings come up as should be . Your standard curves and deer warning and speed adjustments are there. Satellite images are there with a download .. Also if your inclined you can watch movies on the browser with a hotspot of coarse in locations. With Wi-Fi cell air. Also links dog gps collars to the device so hunting dogs can used on this device lots of over top features and things I am still learning. The background computer is android so if your enjoy that it’s good. I feel like a better platform but it works. Good tech camp sights and other features perfect

Not as good as the Zumo
I thought a level up would be better than the zumo for motorcycle, was not. The overlander is great for sure, but does not show off road trails or weather like the zumo

DOA
This unit arrived unresponsive. After charging it, it did turn on but the touch screen was not working well. Hard reset did not correct the issue. Searched Garmin for troubleshooting advice and did not find anything else to resolve the issue. Unit became completely unresponsive - it would turn on but did not respond to touch screen inputs. I decided to return the unit and was informed that refund would require 30 days from AMZ and potential for an additional 7d from my bank to receive the refund. I've had pretty good experiences for the most part purchasing refurbished items from AMZ. This was disappointing.

there appears to be some missing location data missing from the Southwest US files
I am in contact with the vendor about the US Southwest off-road map software which appears to have well-known locations missing from the database. If there is just a minor glitch I will update this post otherwise I will return this and seek a refund for the GPS and software upgrade

Almost perfect delivery
Purchased this unit and really enjoy it, with the exception of the RAM ball unit that came with the unit was too large to fit in the magnetic base. I believe base is 19mm size ball needed, and the ball sent is 1" (25mm). Other than that, great unit!

Works on the highway, not off road
Worked fine in the driveway. As soon as I got off road, the display was flickering and flashing, then went dead.

Useless like any other Garmin gadget
You’re better off using Waze. I don’t know why I keep trying Garmin navigation gadgets. Every single one I bought - regardless the price - is a complete waste of money. This one is a blast from the past. I recall having a GPS receiver I got for my laptop back in 1998 - Garmin is worse. My early New Year’s resolution is “no more Garmin”.
