I recently developed Plantar Fasciitis. I discovered I need a good arch support to relieve my pain. Also, I have wide feet. And I have high arches. I normally wear a size or 1.5 up from my actual foot size to accommodate my foot. For these I had to dial the size back to my actual foot size. They do take a couple wearings to break-in or mold to your feet, but eventually they feel like home. I like the back strap for security, but obviously they are more of a pain to get on and off. If you can't handle the hassle, just get the arizona they stay on pretty well, though not quite as secure.

I returned these Birks since the pair I ordered listed them as a women's size 8 (equivalent to a 39) but they were a 40. Too big for me unfortunately, which was a bummer since the price was great.

Really comfortable and they look nicer in person. Excellent price as well.

They're a good fit, a little on the large size, I wear a 9 shoe size, and probably will get an 8 next time. But they are the best sandals I've ever had. The curves on the bottom of the sandals mesh up with my feet very good.

I’ve been told how comfy the Berks are, but never tried them before. At this price I thought they were worth a try and so far so good. They fit good and are forming to my feet very well. They are very light compared to other Sandles I’ve had in the past and I find them getting more comfy everyday. Happy with my first Birkenstock purchase.
