The product offered by Colambia is comfy and breathable. With warm woolen socks can withstand sub zero temp conditions, could have been better provided the little waterproofing have also been incorporated with reflective ankle hooks for better visibility of rear tracker at night.

Was water resistant for small stream crossing

It is way overpriced for a shoe that doesn't keep out water. We have a farm, and walking thru wet grass gets the shoe soaked, not even raining, just wet grass. My husband's socks are soaking wet inside. We bought these because we thought it would keep his feet dry walking around. If it gets soaking wet in just wet grass, I would hate to see it in actual rain. They are comfortable and very light weight. They would make a great hiking shoe in dry conditions, but not for any wet ones.

Did some hiking on the dolomites with it, was very comfortable, bought 1 size up and fits perfectly.
