These are very easy to use but make sure you pull the strings tightly before you knot them off!

These bags sound like they are made of cotton but they are not. They are made of cornstarch and the DRAWSTRING is cotton. if you want cotton tea bags keep looking you will be dissappointed by these.if you dont mind there are still some flaws, the bags are unusually small for disposable tea bags. i find that they cramp the tea and dont allow it to bloom fully. you might be able to get away with making small amounts of tea with these, like a teacups worht or a tiny pot, but for a large pot of about 40 ounces, even if you fill the bag to the brim you wont get a good brew. better to use 2-4 bags filled about 1/4 the way.

Made several tisane bags for my sister. She loved them. Did not have a problem with the leaves getting loose. Would buy again.
