A good value
This is the first time I’m using safety eyes. They’re easy to use and the eye color choices are nice. I was also happy there were so many sizes in the package since you never know what a future project may need.

Great to finish a project.
I was trying to figure out how to finish a couple of Alligator scarves for some friends and decided to try these safety eyes. As you can see they worked out so well. I've never used safety eyes before but was able to install them in minutes. Love the variety of sizes and colors.

Missing pieces and poor quality
I bought these after reading the reviews and you really do get what you pay for. These eyes have so many issues. Scratches all across the surface. Extra plastic bits poking off the eyes everywhere. A few of the eyes even had large chunks of the plastic broken off. The entire bag of 18mm eyes came with no backs, so now I’m going to have to find another way to attach them. Overall I’m not very happy.

Not useable for my project
I returned the item. None of the pieces were the size I needed. Check sizes before you order.

Exactly what I expected
I ordered these for an amigurumi Momo (from the show Avatar, the Last Airbender) that I was making for my son. They were as described, easy to use, and a very good deal! My daughter (9 yrs old) and I ended up using these in a couple other projects including a felt cat and a clay dragon eye. I would definitely buy these again!

Cute but acrylic lens is hard to see through
I used the largest eye in a sculpture I was doing and found the glitter eye color is just about non-visible through the acrylic lens. I'm not sure how it would look in a stuffed animal, but these are not anything like the beanie-baby glitter eyes. I was disappointed, however, it wasn't the worst thing. The eye still looks like an eye, just a big, black one. It ended up working okay.

Not exactly what I expected.
The eyes are not glittery. They are clear and they come with glittery backings to put behind the eye when you fasten them. Also, they did not come in the exact color quantities as the photo shows. I was planning in gold and silver in the largest size, but that size only came with gold, red, and green.
