Heavy denim. You must like a Levi’s Jeans level of denim. I love that. It holds up so well. Wears great.Keeps you warm. Keeps legs covered.The Only thing is that the waist is very small. I have a hard time buttoning it. But with a longer top it’s fine.I’m a very big gal - 3XThis the best skirt I have ever had in 65 years!I have bought some low quality items on Amazon. This is not that.I have this exact skirt in 3 colors now.I have bought 2 More skirts from the Same company because I liked it so much. They are different styles so check those out too.I’m a real person. BTW. Just enthusiastic cuz it’s hard for me to find clothes I love.

I’m usually more of a pencil skirt type of gal. I like a more tailored look, but I’m 6 months postpartum with a mommy pooch and sweater season had me looking a little too top heavy so I wanted a maxi denim skirt to balance my everyday look. This is a great skirt. I currently wear a 12/14 depending on brand, and the XXL fit great. The fabric has some stretch so it’s very forgiving, but it’s stiff enough that it keeps me from looking frumpy.

Love this skirt. The wide waistband and stretchiness make it wearable as high or low waist. I have a small waist, big hips and hate the look I get from straight denim skirts. The panels on this one make it so flattering! It's also super comfortable and I've basically been living it.

I initially ordered this with the thought of using it as a travel skirt, however initially the waist was a tad too tight. i'm losing weight, so hopefully in the future it will become part of my travel wardrobe.In the meantime I can still wear it for work - and even got compliments on it at church this morning! It is stylish and can be dressed up or down. I like the bit of stretch in the fabric around the waist and hips, which enhances the figure.All in all a great, versatile addition to my wardrobe!

Skirt looks beautiful but it’s very long and it’s stretch denim so you need to buy a size down. I bought a medium and it’s too big. I like my denim to fit as during the day denim normally softens so I will need to get it altered. The dye runs badly so you need to wash separately

I ordered an XL based on Amazon’s generated recommendations. At 5’5” and 188, it was snug at the waist but not too bad overall (I am an over 60 grandma). It’s ankle length and has a good swing to it. I didn’t like the way it fit at my backside but think that’s more my problem than the skirts! Front pocket are deep and nice. Buttons are secure and all stitching seems good. Other reviewers negatively commented on the distress marks, erroneously thinking they were manufacturer flaws. I bought it knowing the distressing would be hokey but realized I was buying a heavy denim full length skirt at half the price of my usual skirts. Since I plan to use it as an everyday skirt and not “dress up” it more than met my expectations and honestly, I could use it as a semi dress up option. All in all it’s good quality for the price point and I would definitely purchase another.

Made in China & has a strong chemical smell. I only buy "machine washable" clothes if Made in China because of the smell. I purchased the light blue washed out denim, the navy, and the black skirts. I love long skirts but not these. The washed out light blue denim stunk like an extremely strong chemical, stunk my porch, put package in 2 plastic bags still stunk, & returned it. All 3 skirts were delivered about a week apart, not in 1 shipping but 3 shipments. The dark blue & the black skirt smelled some (could not bring in my house) so I kept them outside on my patio for several days & some of the chemical smell went away. I then washed the navy & black skirt, rinsed it twice, then washed them a second time, 2 rinse cycles & the chemical seemed to go away. After putting them through the dryer, they still smelled so I washed them a 3rd time & soaked them in the washing machine all day with some white vinegar. I will wear the skirts & after more washings they should be OK. The skirts are not flattering because the fabric stretches & makes the stomach look rolly polly or big then tapers in where the body doesn't stretch the fabric thus making it tighter & very hard to walk (have to take baby steps). Plus, the fabric is really thick so the skirts are very heavy & weighs a lot. I do not recommend the light blue due to the horrible smell or chemicals they used bleaching the denim out. I used "free & clear of perfumes & dye" detergent to make sure the smell was gone but did not work completely. I kept the dark blue & black skirt but not happy with the fit or heavy weight fabric. I am a very good sewer / seamstress so I'm going to re-do these skirts so they will work better for me. I do not recommend.

The reviews I read were all over the place so I took a chance on the size, looking at the hip measurement because I thought I could always have the waist altered. So, I hope my specifics help someone else because weight means nothing without body shape being taken into account: I'm 5'6", apple body shape. I weigh 135lbs. My waist is, oh, 32" (no thanks to are menopause) my hips 38", I have no rear-end to speak of and the Medium fits like a dream. It's gorgeous and I bought it specifically for my 3 pair of cowboy boots. The skirt is flattering, it really is.It's "kind"/forgiving for every shape, lots of flex/stretch, and decent weight denim. Go for it.I hope my review helps. Hopefully I can add to this by uploading a photo later.
