These are the best transfer pens on the market.
These marker pens work great! I have seen in the reviews where some people think they are dried out and can't get them to work. You have to prime the marker every so often by pushing the tip up and down on a piece of paper to pump the ink to the tip. I have used several brands of transfer pens and these are so far the best ones available out there. They are tough to see on a black shirt but they can be seen enough to transfer and finish your project. They work great on other color fabrics! I am still trying to figure out which color pen shows up best on black. I use them a lot to transfer designs that i create and print out on the computer, and then i trace on the back side(unless you print in mirror image) to iron onto my shirt. Then I use fabric puffy paint to decorate my design. I gave it 5 stars because they are the best option out there. I have had my pens for at least 5 years, maybe longer, and they still work. I will be buying another set soon because mine are finally running out and I do not want to be caught without since I never know when I may need to use them! I have done a lot of shirts over the years and just got done doing 50 shirts for my work. The pens go a long ways! Another tip: if you are transferring the same design multiple times, you are able to use the transfer about three times if you don't iron out the image too dark that you use up the ink. I try to lightly transfer the image when ironing, enough to see so i can get multiple uses out of my transfer design so I don't have to go back and retrace as much when doing multiple shirts. I don't normally write reviews but when i seen other people writing reviews and i had a feeling why they weren't working for them i felt i needed to say something. I hope my review was helpful!

Multiple Transfers!
I traced a design onto a piece of paper with the pen, then used an iron to transfer the design onto a canvas bag for painting. I was able to use one design 3 times and still get a clean, clear transfer. Would recommend!

Easy to use tools for transferring designs
I had to transfer a long, hand-written design to thick linen, for which task I bought these Sulky pens. The four colors are wonderful and vivid, and they come in a great plastic tube, making them easy to store. However, I'm glad that I tested the "ironability" of the ink before I started to transfer the design. These pens - I used the red one - make a very clear line, but, when ironed onto linen, the inked lines become THICK. Now, this may or may not be what you are looking for, depending on which stitch you are planning to use for your project. I discovered that the lines I ironed on in my test would never be able to be covered by my embroidery, as I had planned on using the crewel outline stitch on the hand-written saying. If I had wanted to use, say, an inverted chain or a woven stitch, these lines made with the Sulky pen would have been perfect. As it was, I had to resort to pencils for my transfer - not nearly as clear as the beautiful Sulky pen, but thin enough to cover with my embroidery.

Very Happy with Purchase
This is a purchase I made because I have no idea what I'm doing with tracing paper. I read some of the negative reviews but decided to take the plunge and get them anyway. Well, my friends, what a wonderful surprise. No problems whatsoever. Transfers are crisp and clean with all of the colors. Let me give you some tips if you get these and think they're not working. First, shake them all before you proceed. Yep, shake them up good. After that, press the tip firmly on some paper for a little bit so the ink gets down to the tip. The pens should now be ready to roll. They do a fantastic job tracing and the size of the tip is fine enough that you won't be getting big, heavy lines when you transfer the image. Now, this is the best part....if you do it right, the transfer comes out perfectly. The iron needs to be pretty hot and keep it on the back of the paper for about 15-20 seconds. Another thing is that I have used my images almost 5 times and they STILL transfer! Excellent product from Sulky.

Easy to use, good value!
I was prepared for these not to work very well. But Sulky is a reputable name in the needlework industry so I gave them a try. They work PERFECTLY!! I followed all of the tips and I was using Kona cotton (high quality quilters cotton). Every mark transferred clearly. The cost was very reasonable.

Very thick, highly pigmented lines
I bought these pens to help me transfer patterns or drawings onto fabrics in order for me to stitch/embroider over the lines. The pens are easy to use and transfer pretty easily (just be sure not to move either the fabric or the transfer during the ironing process), but I found the lines to be a little too thick and dark once they'd transfered over. They were difficult to hide behind stitches. I was hoping that the pens would leave a thin or lighter outline on the fabric, so that I could cover the lines with the stitches I'd make over them with embroidery floss. In an attempt to solve this problem, I tried to use just the very tip of the marker/pen when making my transfer, but, even then, it would still make a thick, harsh line. Also, I tried to play with different iron-on times, hoping that it would help create fainter lines. This just made the pattern partially transfer in some points, meaning it wouldn't transfer over the complete design. In these cases, I'd have to re-iron the pattern on top of same spot on the fabric, risking ruining the design if my second iron attempt didn't line up 100% perfectly.Overall, I found it easier to just draw my designs directly onto the fabric with a disappearing ink pen (one of those fabric pens with water-soluble ink) while doing my embroidery work. I wish Sulky would make their iron-on transfer pens in lighter colors (pale blue, light pink, like grey), because it'd be more convenient to edit designs on paper than on the actual fabric.

Worked great!
After using a transfer pencil for years these are a breeze to use. No more extreme pressing to get enough transfer on the paper, just trace and it easily transfers to fabric. One of the best purchases I've made. I definitely recommend getting this if you transfer patterns a lot that need tracing, or make your own patterns that don't come on transfer paper.

Works great
Delivered on time and works just as I hoped it would. Excellent for transfering my punch needle patterns. One tracing can give you 4-5 transfers. Just keep the tracing for the next time you want to transfer it again. You do not have to use much pressure when tracing. If you have a printed page you want to transfer I recommend you lay a piece of tracing paper over it and then trace your pattern rather than trace over the printed page. Otherwise I find you press harder then needed and your tracing lines becomes thicker than needed. You could end up flattening the tip because of this.
