Great for a cleaning solar panels!
Most of the reviews are right on. However what I did was remove the plastic shut off and inserted a quick disconnect for the hose, which already has a brass shut off built into it, that way you can rotate the pole/hose 360° while you are cleaning. I also returned the right angle attachment because if you’re on your roof cleaning solar panels you don’t need it! This is the first time using it and it worked great! I was up and down off the roof all 26 solar panels cleaned in less than 30 minutes! Did not have any leaks and so far it seems sturdy for the job that I needed to perform…

Great pole for washing my Class A Motorhome
Great pole for washing my Class A Motorhome. The flow thru is really nice to have as it can be used to spray down after a good soaping. This is a heavy, high quality pole that will last a long long time. Worked well with the Mr. Long Arm brushes. Also, I highly recommend Gel-Gloss RV Wash and Wax if your using this for a Motorhome.

Works great for me
I've been using this with a soft brunch from the same company to clean the siding on my house. The pole is very light weight and quite sturdy as long as you haven't extended it to it's max. Between 6 ft and maybe 9 ft it's quite easy to handle, but if you extend it all the way to 12" the weight of the water and the length of the pole does make it quite challenging to handle. It's easy enough to keep it vertical and move it up and down, but if you try to move it to the side at all it's pretty unwieldy.Unlike other reviewing I haven't had any trouble with the water valve that is screwed to the bottom of the pole. It works, but it is made of plastic and I could see how it may break in the future.

Perfect for my application!
I bought this extension along with Mr. LongArm's Soft Blue Brush to clean the glass on my curved-eave sunroom. It's a long way up the slope and this made it easy. The flow-thru design allowed me to gently scrub the dirt off the glass surface while the continuous water flow carried the dirt out of the brush. It's an obviously well made product and I'm sure it's going to last a long time. I'm next going to use it to scrub the underside of the roof overhangs (eaves) on my house.

Poor Quality. Does not perform as advertised. No support from MFG.
Last year (09/17), I bought a new travel trailer, this pole, and brushes to clean the trailer with. Just got around to using the pole (08/18), for the first time since purchase. Because pole is extendible, it is built with inner and outer poles. To extend, the inner pole must be unlocked, extended forward, and re-locked. The lock mechanism holding the two poles together would not work properly. I would partially extend the inner pole, engage the lock mechanism, turn the water on, and the inner pole would extend itself to its full limit. Thus, making the unit too long and impossible to use in some circumstances. No matter how much the locking mechanism was tightened, the inner pole would fully extend by itself.I sent an email to the MFG, "Mr. LongArm" in MO, USA, looking for some sort of help or advise. I realize I've had this item for about a year, but this being the first time it was used, I expected some sort of response.I received exactly NOTHING!I paid good money for this extension pole that didn't work and ended up spending a few more bucks, (what I should have done to begin with), on a plain wooden broom handle. Wasn't quite as slick, but the old time broom handle worked without a problem.Do not buy anything from "Mr. LongArm" in MO, USA. Thanks.

Extension great....water source not so great
I liked the pole in general. The extension was particularly appreciated as siding on a two-story home was washed. The only thing I didn't like and ended up not using, was the water hose connection located at the bottom of the pole. It made the pole cumbersome to handle and entirely too heavy for me. I ended up loading the attached brush with water, washing a portion of siding, then rinsing off with a nozzles hose. The pole itself is great though -- just will never use it as I had thought.

If you are looking at it, don't hesitate. Awesome!
WOW. I had to clean the siding on the house. We have a few high peaks, and a Chimney.I am not good on a ladder, so I thought I would try this.WOW. This is my new favorite tool. It made such quick work off the job I was shocked.I planned to do 1/2 the house today, and 1/2 the house tomorrow. I finished it all today. And the chimney.30 Second Cleaner was used separately to break down the green moss that we get. Hosed it down quickly. Then hit it with this. It slid right passed a couple of the Hanging Nails we have sticking out. But still let me scrub. For the tall stuff, I just had to rock back and fourth a bit to cover about 3" at a time, which saved my arms. Also, USE one of those lightweight expanding houses. I did not at first, and switched to that. The weight difference is amazing. If I could make it hold a sprayer bottle at the top to apply the cleaner, I would have been too drunk to write this review! The bottom has a 1/4 turn shut off, which I used a lot. And the compression fitting worked great, and it was not leaking down my arms as I was afraid it would be...

A useful tool for outdoor cleaning
I washed my townhouse siding with this pole and a brush since using my outside wall outlet was prohibitive. It was light, easy to manipulate the water spigot while water flowed, and fully extended it had minor loss of stiffness at 12’. There was not one drop of leaks from it. The whole endeavor was a success and now my siding is clean again. I actually look forward to washing my house again with the help of this product.

Finally a Well Made Extendable Washbrush
I've used dozens of Simoniz products. Dozens because they keep breaking. I think they design them to break so you have to buy another. This Longarm pole is excellent. i can tell that it's made well, and made to last.

Okay
It met my expectations.

Not worth the $$$
Used for one day:Foam felt nice but the sticky label comes off and leaves a massive sticky residue (if you lay it on the ground it’s gonna pick up dirty/grass). The locking mechanism often overlocks making it almost humanly impossible to reopen forcing you to use a wrench to unlock it again. Because of this, the foam has ripped on the first use because of twisting it in efforts to unlock it.The on/off water valve sprung a leak on the very first day as well, probably just needs tightening but still….Other than that, it’s fine.Disappointed in the overall design of this pole
