This "toilet" is amazing! To call this object a mere toilet is doing it a disservice. What can I say? The heated seat is loved by my wife. It flushes so efficiently. It keeps itself clean...hell, it keeps me clean! No more skid marks! Sorry about that, I know it's crass, but it's true... You have to get used to its routine. What do I mean by that? When you flush and walk away, it goes through a ritual of spraying ionized water on the inside of the bowl. The wand coming out and doing so makes some funny noises. However, sometimes in the middle of the night, it makes some noises when it has not been used for hours. My wife and I joke that it's communicating with the "Mother Ship". She (my wife) told me that one of these nights, I'm going to awaken and it will be right next to my side of the bed! Never fear, this is a great product!

Never had a bidet before but I am totally sold. Install like any other toilet, just need a nearby outlet to plug it in. The deodorizing feature works amazingly well.

Having already purchased the 1gpf Toto I know I'm getting a great product. So I wanted to upgrade my master bathroom toilet with a dual flush high efficiency (over my current 1.6 builder grade) and include the Washlet. Unfortunately, I was shipped a 1.6gpf single flush unit. I had read the reviews prior to ordering and saw that some previous buyers had the same thing happen...wrong model. I consider what I received a downgrade. I would not recommend buying thru Amazon from this vendor. Considering previous buyers had the same thing happen, and rated such, I feel a low rating is appropriate, even if the Toto product is great.

I’m so glad I splurged for the Toto. It’s very comfortable and easy to use. I feel super clean using it and I like that the bowl stays clean even with all the water efficiency.A plumber installed ours so I can’t speak to the ease of installation. He had no complaints.

We already have a tankless auto flush Toto toilet in the master bath. When our former Toto washlet in the guest bath (paired with a normal toilet with a manual flush - so as not to confuse guest users) stopped functioning we decided to upgrade. Seeing that the new generation Toto washlets seemed to be intended to be paired with specially-designed Toto toilet bases (to help hide the hose and electrical connections running from washlet to wall), we settled on the advertised "TOTO MW7463056CEMG#01 Drake WASHLET+ Two-piece Elongated Dual Flush 1.28 and 0.8 GPF DYNAMAX TORNADO FLUSH Toilet with S550e Bidet Seat, Cotton White" from seller Home Essentials. We placed our order, and called our favorite plumber to exchange the new toilet/bidet with the old.After he completed the installation, I was anxious to try the dual flush feature - only to be told by the plumber that there was no dual flush feature - just one regular flush choice. The washlet features seemed to work well and apparently covered the expected features from the anticipated S550e (even though nowhere in any of the instruction manuals was S505e mentioned). However, the dual wash feature that we believed we were getting apparently adds a couple hundred dollars to the price we paid! Although we were disappointed in not getting this advertised feature, at this point, we don't really want to get the "correct" feature with the complexity of returning the old one, waiting for the tank that we paid for to arrive, and having it installed. But we feel we were clearly overcharged and would like an adjustment in the cost of what we actually received. (Thus my 3-star rating for "value for money.") Other than that problem, the washlet itself, while identified by a sticker on the inside of the lid as a model "SW3056AT40 #01" seemed to have the same features found in the S550e that was stated in the product description.The manuals are difficult to navigate. They sent separate manuals in three different languages, but the English manual still had a few other languages and several other models - all of which you had to navigate through to identify the correct instructions/descriptions for your particular model in English.

We finally got around to getting a bidet. Toto has great toilets and they sell Bidet seats, that they call Washlets. You can buy a toilet, a washlet or a combination of both. We got the combination. The toilet has a dual flush that allows you to do a full flush of 1.6 Gallons of water, or a half-flush that uses only .8 gallons of water. The tornado flush works so much better than regular toilets. The half flush is all we ever need. The Washlet (Bidet) is great. Better than we expected. The self cleaning function of the unit means that after a month the toilet still looks as clean as the first day we had it. Everything is adjustable..... Seat temperature, water temperature, air drying system. This particular Toilet / Washlet combination sells to $1800 on the Toto website. I saved hundreds of dollars by buying it on Amazon. I only wish I had bought this a few years ago. The only thing we had to do to prepare for the installation was to have an electric outlet installed near the toilet. No hot water line is needed. The Washlet heats its own water.

I got this toilet for my wife and she has been very happy. Installing the toilet was pretty standard. The bidet took about another 1/2 hour. It installation instructions for the bidet were a little hard to follow but was actually very easy to do. I have had no problems with either. TOTO quality has been very good. This is the 2nd TOTO toilet that I have installed.

Everything about this toilet and bidet seat is as expected, except we ordered a dual flush model, and as reported by others a single flush model was delivered. Had I wanted the single flush, I would have ordered from a different seller, like Amazon directly or my local plumbing supply store. Otherwise, very pleased with the Toto products!
