I ordered 1 box of these as a test, and ordered a second box the following day having installed the first set of lights. I went for the warm white, as it marries with other room lights in a living room area. These replace old halogen, 50W, lights that had transformers attached for dimming purposes. These dim beautifully after removing the old transformers and replacing them with new GU10 connectors. I should say that I am not an electrician, and this was an easy replacement exercise. Well happy with the results....

Seemed to be working fine. 2 have now blown with in less than a year. Nowhere near 15,000 hiurs lifespan.

I brought 20 of these bulbs to replace a number of old halogen bulbs I had dotted around the house, these days it is worth getting energy efficent lighting. I picked these particular led bulbs because I have quite large rooms, all using dimmer switches so my choice of bulbs is limited.So, first problem was two of the bulbs had loose pins on the back so when plugged in to the light fixing they worked intermittently. When I removed them one of the wires came out of one of them! The rest of the bulbs worked but they have two other minor problems; some of them flicker slightly when using the dimmer switches but only while they are being adjusted, once set to the required brightness they are fine. The other problem is I chose the 2700k 350 lumen bulbs as they were a close match to some that I had in other rooms which are 2700k warm white 345 lumen led GU10 bulbs. These are noticebly less bright than the supposedly lower lumen bulbs, this seems to occur with some of my dimmer switches so it may be that they simply don't like those switches (I have never had a problem with any other bulb in those rooms so it seems to be just these bulbs).Now don't get me wrong, these bulbs are perfectly usable in most of the rooms they are placed in and I like the wider angle these have but you may encounter some minor issues with them.

Had 5 of these in our lounge since March. Just turned them on and one made a noise and stopped working, then that blow the other 4. Put the other 5 in and all working again.They don't dim that great but do work. Gives a nice soft light around the room.Wouldn't buy again.

With the cost of energy so high I replaced all of the bulbs in my new house to LED’s the moment I moved in. They’ve all lasted since I bought them, and helped to get my electricity bill down a bit…..hasn’t stopped me shouting at my son for treating the house like Blackpool Illuminations, but has helped to save a bit…..just don’t tell my son!

Fine lights , slightly off yellow but depends on your colour scheme if it works for you or not. BUT check the size of your fittings. Exposed fittings are nae bother, recessed another story. If your bulbs are held in by those really annoying clippy things these may not work for you. They are slightly larger than halogen GU10s so the clippy rings do not want to fit. You can make them but there’s a chance it’ll spring out at random.They are bright, and do dim, although when fitted to a 3 lights on 1 dimmer switch they didn’t light up to full pelt. About half brilliance I would say, which is odd because with 2 fitted + 1 old halogen they were fully bright. 🤷🏻‍♂️Removed & halogens back in….

It could be our dimmer, otherwise they are great. And an excellent price.
